I'm concerned about finances and the environment because if we're all jack-shit broke and the environment is totally fucked up, what good is having children at ALL? They're breathing filth and having to eat ramen for every meal. That's no kind of life for anybody, let alone kids. So let's focus on fixing these problems first. Prosperity is a good thing when you want to raise children in a healthy environment. Besides which, we can always produce more kids. A new ozone layer and global life support system, not so much.
And let's also keep the basic human rights of people who have opinions and lifestyles different than our own, within reason; let's keep the right of women to control their own body and destiny, and let's let the gay folks marry, because does it really fucking matter that much?
