So trying to get to god or not through your head (intellect, brain, words, argument, logic, discussion) is like trying to hear music with your eyes. Wrong tool for the job. It's through your heart and emotions and feelings, it is not experienced through words or books or discussions.

That's correct, intellect alone won't be enough. Yet, why do so many religious fundamentalists appear to, lack a heart, have no feelings and have had a stunted emotional development?
...heart and emotions and feelings...
...words or books or discussions...
This was almost exactly the sentiment that steered me away from the church. Stop thinking? Why the Hell would I do that?
"...Und das Herz ist ein Muskel - in der Groesze einer Faust!"
Even communist songwriters make more sense than you, fundie!
If the pump that is your heart becomes diseased, you can have it replaced. It's called a transplant. Such procedures have been carried out since the Sixties. Did you know that, numbskull?
On the other hand, you cannot have a brain transplant. In your particular case, that is a great pity.

"It's through your heart and emotions and feelings, it is not experienced through words or books or discussions. "
So, you're going to stop shoving your book down our throats, and cease all further discussion of it, yes?
Well, I can agree on that part,
problems only arise if you use this to justify the literal truth of the bible.
Or, with other words:
Trying to justify the literal truth of the bible (and that it is gods word) through your heart/faith is like trying to hear usic with your eyes. Wrong tool for the job. Such things are proven through science, logic and not through faith. And as you are unable to prove it via these means (but in contrast, the bible contradicts observed reality) any faith in the literal truth of the bible must be false
Heart = blood pump
Brain = electro-chemical reactor (the seat of emotion, intellect and logic).
Bats = animals (mammals, not birds) that see with sound.
Also: LSD.
QED.
"is like trying to hear music with your eyes."
When reading music, I can hear roughly what it should sound like.
BUSTED!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
