Hell, no atheists should not be considered citizens! This is a Christian nation under god! George Bush should deport the godless communists. They're defiling this one nation UNDER GOD!

Yes, deport us. Never mind that the term atheist is not equivalent to the term communist (although you're quite right that an atheist communist would be godless), I'm quite curious as to how the deporting would go, seeing as how many of us are not immigrants and thus have nowhere to return to.
AS has been brought up time and time again; Treaty of Tripoli.
Spells out quite clearly that this is not a Christian nation. Was ratified unanimously by the US Congress.
If anything, this nation was founded on religious freedom, not as a Christian nation. Just what is it you idiots don't understand about that?
"Hell, no atheists should not be considered citizens!"
As that is a double negative, you are calling FOR atheists to be considered citizens. Thank you.
"This is a Christian nation under god!"
No, this is a secular nation with freedom of, and from, religion.
"George Bush should deport the godless communists."
Why do you Fundies have such trouble understanding that atheists are not necessarily communists. Atheism is a theological stance. Communism is a political stance.
It is not up to the president to decide who does or does not get deported.
"They're defiling this one nation UNDER GOD!"
No, it is not. The pledge says that, but that does not mean it is a fact.
@Norb Bippus
I wonder what the repercussions of removing all atheists from American society would be.... hello dark ages part two.
To be perfectly honest, would it make that much of a difference? After all, only 9% of US society claims to not believe in God, and only 1 person out of that 9% has any kind of notable position of political power.
... fuck, it's terrifying that in the world's only superpower, loony fundies with no grasp on reality have more power than atheists who employ logic and reason. And I say that as a (very liberal) Christian!
Freboy, we have room for the disenfranchised American atheists here in Canada. We took their United Empire Loyalists, their escaped slaves and their Vietnam draft dodgers. And we're not communist. The Canadian Communist parties, which while legal (we respect people's political freedom) have yet to elect a member of any legislative body.
When I saw this poster's username, I initially read it as "burninate" ... as in Trogdor the Burninator, burninatin' all over town.
Which, you have to admit, would've been a lot cooler than "BMU Initiate".
I'm interested where he proposes to deport native citizens of a country to. First, I believe the term he's looking for is exile, second, if Bushie tried a mass exile, his head would be on a pike so fast...
... someone should deport George Bush. To Pluto. [[even though its not a planet.]]
If not, lets just leave te fundies in the States. Hey, the rest of the world can send thiers over too!
send all the people who like freedom and fun over here!!
and what about the fundies that have nowhere to be deported to?
do they get to choose?
in that case, watch out Bethlehem/ Jerusalem/ The desert/ Nazareth.

Go Canada!!!
:]
Deport them...where? Where do you propose displacing...a conservative guess here...a few million people to? What country do you propose burdening with them? And how do you propose to get such a grossly unconstitutional ruling through? And the following insurrection, after you start ripping families apart, and making refugees out of good citizens?
Am I the only one thinking this guy jerks off over McCarthy's edicts?
1. Treaty of Trioply and the First Amendment say otherwise.
2. "under god" was not added to the pledge until 1954.
3. Notice how it says under "god", but dosen't state whatgod. It could be Jehovah, Allah, Zesus, any god.
4. Ahteist are not communist any more than christans are nazis.
1892
"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
1892 to 1923
"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and to the republic for which it stands: one nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
1924 to 1954
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands; one Nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all."
1954 to Present
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
It used to be "One nation indivisible", before you were infected with the Red Scare in the 50's. Now, Russia is reconciled with the Russian Orthodox church again, so you can remove "under God"...
Not all atheists are communists, and not all communists are atheists, silly.
Bullshit added in 1954.
