[On the murder of politician Jo Cox]

OK my thoughts now I've given time for the family to grieve.She was a rank lefty so by dint of that she is my enemy.An mp who wasted no time in promoting multi cultural crap.,again my enemy.Putting it bluntly one of theirs has copped for it and they the left don't like it one bit! I won't shed any tears in fact it's nice to see them squirming and hopefully put the wind up them all.Im not apologising for my thoughts coz I'm well past caring what people think.

I always look at the Silver Lining: The more brutal and ridiculous these people are....the less they succeed!

....In a nutshell; The more openly oppressive, murderous, hateful and over-the-top a reactionary's rhetoric or actions, the less they'll succeed and the more folks will hate them.

The only exception I know of is Tienanmen Square and the Pro-Democracy bunch throwing in the towel, afterwards. That one has me baffled. Similar situations have had the effect of strengthening protester's resolve (or at least have them retreat, regroup and move to Plan B, like the 'Occupy' bunch).

But weirdos like mass-murderers and the OP aren't the Chinese Government, so the Tarkin Effect would apply.

The guys behind the Orlando Massacre and Cox's assassination (and supporter's comments) have only made their enemies stronger!

To those of you across the pond stuck with that "Brexit" vote; I wrote this in another thread....

To the British who voted to remain in the EU....

I'm so sorry.

The fact that none of you are exhibiting that famous "British Pluck" in the face of adversity and saying "We're doomed" rather than "We'll get through this/We can fight this/It ain't over" seems to indicate that something really epically awful must have occurred.

I may be a "dumb American" but I always had the impression of that you Brits were all "Keep Calm And Carry On"....that you didn't even let The Blitz pummeling your cities defeat your spirit.

Now; I'm reading about that dumb "Brexit" vote and everyone is literally like, "WE'RE DOOOOOOOMED!".

There's no encouragement. No hope. No "we can get through this".

The fact that your country voted for this despite Jo Cox's death fills me with fear.

After her death, I assumed that people would realize how crazy the Far-Right is, honor her memory and respond to the tragedy by voting "Bremain".

But Britain went against everything! Even common sense or humanity!

It make me fear for my country.

It makes me disillusioned! It makes me rethink my post with that "Tarkin Effect" pic.

In a normal world full of normal people with normal brains, Jo Cox's murder would have meant an instant WIN for "Bremain"!

That's how it's SUPPOSED TO GO!

When "Tarkin" tightens his grip....the more things are supposed to slip through his fingers!

Now; I'm so confused and disillusioned.

Everything I believed has been one big fantasy.

If Britain, which I assumed was smarter and saner than America, voted this way....how much more dire things woulds be here in The United States of "The Fat, Dumb and Stupid" America!

And smart Americans will live in Canada!

Sometimes the best way to fight stupid is to give them what they want! When dopes like the OP here are starving and wallowing in poverty while a bunch of normal English are happy as immigrants to mainland Europe and an independent Scotland and thriving, maybe some of them might learn their lesson.

No need to be.

But certain people will be, though.

The extra hassle in having to apply for a visa for, say, a holiday to the Costa Del Sol or Ibiza. When previously, one didn't need to, because we were in the EU.

On the subject of Spain, Is Gibraltar a price you're prepared to pay, o 'Leave'-rs? Especially when 95% of that British protectorate's population voted to stay in the EU. [/Falklands]

Certainly for even a quick trip to France for, say, a 'Booze Cruise'. Oh yes, that's right: unlike previously, when so many Brits who voted 'Leave' the other day who liked to take the ferry or Channel Tunnel to France's hypermarkets to stock up on their Chav fuel - Stella Artois beer etc - with impunity because of the EU's Free Trade laws, I'm afraid that's all over now. A white vanful of lager? HM Customs & Excise will charge you a shitload of import duty on that, or seize it from you & pour it all down the drain.

More problems for top-flight footballers from the continent. Even Leicester City, Chelsea, Manchester City et al will become inferior teams, with no foreign players allowed.

Be more of a hassle to find cheap builders, plumbers etc from Poland.

It's almost a certainty that Britain will be plunged back into a recession; just when we were coming out of the Dumbya-created one several years ago.

A drop in foreign investment; thank fuck that Siemens have completed their expansion of their wind turbine facilities here in Hull.

Just one job loss - of a 'Leave' voter - as a direct result of their doing so...!

At least my conscience is clear. For when just one 'Leave' voter loses their job, I will be able to say 'Don't blame me. I voted 'Remain.'
