Ya, so you know, if they were straight and trying to molest someone at your wedding, that would be a-okay, right?
And from your statement, it looks like you WANT someone to force their ways. Or, you're an idiot and don't bother with spellcheck.
Hm, bad luck,
I don´t think you will find many gays who will try to force their ways on anyone or try to molest people.
Maybe you should invite christian fundamentalists...
they´re usually known for doing these things ;)
Assuming you meant "... not trying to force ...", I applaud you for being open-minded enough not to hate them for being homosexual per se.
But I SERIOUSLY take issue with your even THINKING that there might be the tiniest possibility that they would try to force their ways on anybody or molest anybody.
"Actually, I would have no problem with a homosexual coming to my wedding, as long as they were respctful, and trying to force their ways on anyone, or molest anyone ...."
I'd laugh if that weren't so fucking bigotted...
Dear Vja4him, I see you are trying to be tolerant, however I must remind you that being gay does not also make one a serial rapist.
Overall, pretty meh, considering it's posted on Carm.
Yeah, you're....
You're a jerk.
@CalinBan, @WMDKitty, & @DevilsChaplain(#870620): Clearly, you guys have never met my housemate.
@Eden, & @freako104: SO te OP seems fine with the majority, just not the minority that gives the majority a bad name. Kinda like my attitude with christians.
This sounds suspiciously like tolerance, not fundy, to me (it is incoherent but you can see what he meant). I guess if you want to look at it negatively, he shows some ignorance of homosexuals just by saying, "if they're not being rude and pushy or creepy or anything, I have no problem with them", as if they were likely to molest him in the first place. On the other hand, if that means he has no problems with the homosexuals he likely WILL meet, there is no problem.
and trying to force their ways on anyone
So, you can force your ways on everyone else, but no one else can do that to you.
or molest anyone ....
What about hetrosexual rapests and child molesters?

Can I come to your wedding and bring my hair dresser. Sounds like he would have a flaming good time.
If your afraid of people getting molested in church you're looking in the wrong direction again.
Up there, in front of the cross and behind the podium. With some others, to the side pretending their pious and beyond reproach.
I'm not being flippant, the documentation of abuse by church leaders is immense
I am a humanist, zealous for human rights. Actually, I would have no problem with a Christian coming to my wedding, as long as they were respectful, and not trying to force their ways on anyone, or proselytize anyone.
Ugh, this freak reminds me of white people that go out of their way to be nice to Afcian Americans to show they're one of the good 'not-racist' ones--which in a way is its own brand of racism. This one is 'good, not-homophobes'---lol, but you know she is secretly freaking out. I bet she thinks gays have horns and a spaded tail.
"as long as they were respctful, and trying to force their ways on anyone, or molest anyone .... "
*sporfle* Y hallo there, Mr. Freud!
But as an aside: force their ways on anyone? When's the last time you've seen someone knock on your door at six in the morning and try to convert you to homosexuality?
Weird, before I got married, I told my wife that I have no problem with her fundie uncle coming to our wedding, as long as he was respectful, and not trying to force his ways on anyone. I sort of figured that the molesting thing went without saying.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
