There is no way that you can be a gay Christian. To be a Christian is to be Christ like. Jesus was not gay just like Jesus was not a thief or a murderer. He teaches against homosexuality and other forms of sin. You can't not live in sin and live in Christ. No matter what form of sin it is.

If we have to be like Christ, does it mean that we women can't be Christian?, or black and Asian people?, or those who are married?..............moreover, would you care explaining which part of the Gospel(not letters from St Paul or his disciples, please)is specific on that topic?, where does Jesus, I insist, not his diciples or St Paul, condenm homosexuality?. And why do you speak about living in sin only in terms of sexuality?, are you telling me that once you've lied, shout to your friends or parents or just done something wrong you can't be Christian?, and finally, aren't we all sinners, according to your version of Christianity?
To be a Christian is to be Christ like. Jesus was not gay just like Jesus was not a thief or a murderer.
Jesus is an imaginary mythological person. If you're real, you can't be a Christian.

Jesus was not a woman therefore women cannot be Christians.
Jesus was not an accountant therefore accountants cannot be Christians.
Jesus was not an inbred shit kicking red neck from the bible belt so.....
Great idea! Sell everything you own, give the money to the poor, run around in robe and sandals with 12 guys, and preach. Be Christlike!
There is no way that you can be a gay Pharisee. To be a Pharisee is to pretend to be better than Christ. WE insist that Jesus was not gay just like Jesus was not a thief or a murderer. WE preach against homosexuality and other things that WE decided are sin. You can't not live in sin if you're a Pharisee. No matter what form of activity it is, WE will make a sin of it.
Make any sense now?
I don't know, this sounds like Jesus was ordering a theft to me:
11:2 And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
11:3 And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
11:4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
11:5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
11:6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
I dunno. The guy seems to have lived at home with his mom most of his life (he even seems to have taken her to that wedding at Cana), never married and then hung around mostly with a bunch of guys he persuaded to leave their homes and be with him. I'm not prepared to make any assumptions about his sexual orientation.
To be a Christian is to be Christ like.
Christ was Jewish.
Therefore, to be a Christian you must be a Jew.
Now, Jews are not Christians.
Therefore, to be a Christian you must not be a Christian.
Therefore, being a Christian leads to a contradiction.
Therefore, Christians don't exist, by your own definition .
Syndrome: Well, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Jesus was HOLY!! HOLY people do not go to be bathroom like mere mortals! They hold it in for all eternity - and that's where "holy shit" comes from. They eventually asplode. XD
The compilers of the Wholly Babble censored out most of the anecdotal evidence that Jesus was really a human male. Add this omission to the fairy tales of virgin birth and resurrection of the body, and we're left with some unreal character, whose true humanist message was thoroughly obfuscated by bullshit.
Are you christian or not? I'm getting conflicting statments here.
Ever heard of a double negitive? I get the feeling you failed you english class, as you can't even understand your own bible.
Assuming Jesus did exist (and it's almost certain that he didn't), can you please direct us to even ONE sentence attributed to Jesus in which he denounces homosexuality? I repeat, ONE sentence, in the New Testament, attributed to Jesus himself (that's right, something that he is supposed to have said) that denounces homosexuality. I'll be checking back to make sure that you come up with some. Or even one. C'mon - just one.
It's funny...when the Fundies want to redeem their freebie pass into heaven, it's by Grace, and grace alone. When they wanna exclude people, it's by works, and usually in that instant, their very "works" are not very Christ-like either.
Hypocrisy, thy name is Fundy-ism.
@Seiber
*snerk* Of course not. EVERY good Christian knows a woman isn't truly a person, but just an ambulatory womb. Sheesh!
*I WAS BEING SARCASTIC BEFORE I GET A LYNCH MOB ON MY DOORSTEP!*
I live in a co ed dorm hall and have sex with my boyfriend.
I've played football, ie "touched pig skin"
I wear pants and cut my hair
I work on sundays
After going to an 8am mass.
So...I'm quite full of sin, and a christian, no?
So by that logic, to be Christian
You must curse fig trees for not bearing fruit out of season
Feed the masses with a few fish and loaves of bread
Turn water into wine
Give up all your possessions and walk everywhere
Oh, and you have to be Jewish
And if you check your bible Jesus doesn't say one word about homosexuality, a lot about taking care of the poor though, been following that rule have you?
WRONG!
You never have read the Bible properly have you? In it Jesus doesn't even mention it. The only real homophobe in the OT is Paul.
And he was a bastard, who contradicted himself and Jesus in more ways than one. Get your facts straight.
So there can be no Christian pedophiles? Or Christian murderers, or Christian swindlers, or Christian adulterers?
All priests caught with their cassocks a bit too high, in company of young boys, need to leave the faith? Together with all soldiers, all people connected with the strange happenings around the 2000 election in the US. Not to mention everyone who have ever felt lust for their neighbor's wife.
(The Bible doesn't say anything about having lust for your neighbors husband , does it?)
Leviticus said no to homosexuality, Jesus told us to love neighbors, friends, family, and enemies.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
