Somebody else pointed to the dilemna parents would have if all children did automatically go to heaven . . . why not play it safe and take the child's life? Why 'risk' having the child grow up and going to hell? Extreme example? Well, when you think it through, this is exactly the kind stuff you run into when you believe that ALL children go to heaven.

No!!! As I believe this is the one chance we have at life, I would keep any child alive as long as possible. I'm seriously not scared of dying, but I don't want to die right now; I want to live another 40 or 50 years, enjoying life.
I have no kids, but I have siblings, sisters- and brothers-in law, nephews and nieces, parents and parents-in-law, friends and co-workers. I want us all to live as long as possible; enjoying life.
What's a "dilemna"?
I'd like you to clarify your thinking for the benefit of the rest of us.
a) If a child dies 30 seconds after it is born, is it more likely to go to heaven than to hell?
b) Explain why.
@Some Christian Anon
But if she killed the baby to ensure that it got into heaven, then she is in effect sacrificing her immortal soul for that of her infant.
Heck, if she has and kills several children then from the fanatic's point of view she's sacrificing one soul to save many. Given the martyrdom themes inherent in the bible, fundies might consider this to be a noble sacrifice.
According to Don Bluth, All Dogs Go To Heaven: and he's an LDSer.
Think about that , next time you say anything about the LDS in your 'Modern Cults & Religions' section: on a forum dedicated to what is nothing less than a Millerite cult . And from the looks of things, an extremely dangerous one; to the extent that you lot should have CPS drop on you lot like a ton of bricks.
...still, Bluth made "An American Tail" with Steven Spielberg, so he 'Supports Israel'. Enjoy your paradox, Ruptured Retards...!
“Somebody else pointed to the dilemna parents would have if all children did automatically go to heaven . . . why not play it safe and take the child's life?”
What kind of fucking psychopath would consider this a solution?
When they ask that thought experiment, and i’m moved through time, would i kill Hitler when he was 5, to save all those lives, no, of course not. It’s not IN ME to take a toddler’s life..
“Why 'risk' having the child grow up and going to hell?”
Isn’t that the whole point of THAT soul coming to Earth, for them to make THEIR choices?
This selfish act is taking a child’s life so YOU can feel like you’ve accomplished something good.
“Extreme example?”
Sadly, no. You fucks would think this way…
“Well, when you think it through,”
Skipping that part where you look a youngling in the eyes and pull out your light sabre and don’t pause in horror of what you’re about to do…
Confused?
