Fox News channel will probably lose the most to the Rapture, Then the Liberals will buy them out, easily at that time. And, there won't be talk radio any longer. I know not all conservatives are Christians. But, most evangelical Christians are conservative if they are in their right mind!

Fox News? Lose most to the Rapture? What has this cat put in his pipe to smoke?
Most of the folks at Fox GOP (thanks to Flipper for that one) are nothing but puppets and most likely could not do anything unless they were told to do it.
"Then the Liberals will buy them out" - WHAT? According to this post, not all conservatives are Christian. So by that logic (what, I am trying to get a fundie to use logic?), there will be nothing to buy out because the conservative Athetists will still be out there puppetting the GOP's idiotic message!
No talk radio! OH MY! What would this world come to? Hey more time for what is really important - SPORTS TALK!
And probably they will be no more tribulation, because with so much "rapture"(including its owners, of course), people will have a more objective and fair information.
Nobody told you that Rupert Murdoch is teh debbil? Goddamn.
I'm with you in wishing that the Rupture happens very soon, and that you and your fellow fruitbats are all precipitously sucked into space.
I still can't believe that these people actually think that POOF they're going to disappear and nobody's going to think twice about it. If you are supposed to go by faith alone, what the Hell makes these dimwits think that the Almighty would tip his hand by making something so blatantly supernatural happen? It doesn't make much sense to me but then again, neither does the rest of the bullshit about the rapture.
Wanna bet that johnbmcginnis believes in professional wrestling too? PS Evangelical Christians should start reading their Bibles if they are being conservative and mend their ways to follow the Lord and become LIBERAL, afterall in the KJB he tells us to be LIBERAL in dealings with our fellow man SEVEN times. He tells us to be CONSERVATIVE ZERO times. So God expects you to be LIBERAL.PPS FOXGOPNEWS people gonna need a lot of forgiveness for violating commandment #9 to get to heaven.
@ Doctor Whom,
Where in the Scriptures is the Rapture mentioned? I am not being contradictive. I just can't find "Rapture" being mentioned in scripture. (I was taught it by my slightly screwed on too tight right-wing fundie parents.) I remember the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse being mentioned in Revelations.
Or has the children just been too active today and it is too hot in SC for me to think?
No being mean. Just curious. If you were being sarcastic, I missed it.
@ Mom The Dragon:
Matt. 24:29-44 describes people being raptured and says, "This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Also, I Thess. 4:17 says, "Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (We who, Paul?)
@Doctor Whom,
Thank you for taking the time to give me the scriptures relating to the Rapture. But was the writer Paul? Religious scholars have debated for years that there were three different "Pauls".
Thank you again. I will file this knowledge away for future use.
But ... what if the "ord" Paul refers to ends up being the Daleks or the Great Spaghetti Monster?
"Fox News channel will probably lose the most to the Rapture"
Yes, because we all know that CBN won't be affected in the least.

Conundrum:
If the Bible is to be read literally, I don't see how the doctrine of the Rapture isn't outright self-evident. I mean, to anyone who doesn't subscribe to extreme literalism, it's pretty self-evidently a metaphor for the suddenness of the final judgement, but the people we mock, they don't quite get that.
"But, most evangelical Christians are conservative if they are in their right mind!"
"
If they were in their right mind they wouldn't be evangelical christians or conservative.
"Fox News channel will probably lose the most to the Rapture"
I don't know how you figure that. Surely, as they're so 'fair and balanced', only 33% of staff will actually be Christian, and 67% of them will be the wrong 'denomination' (e.g. Catholic, etc.).
So, post rapture, Fox News will be down (if we're generous) just 11% of it's staff. That's about twice the absenteeism rate you get after the Superbowl.
> Fox News channel will probably lose
> the most to the Rapture
LOL! And then normal, THINKING humans will FINALLY have peace on Earth once the religious extremists have been ruptured.
But, most evangelical Christians are conservative if they are in their right mind
Yeah, because we liberals won't suffer your delusions.
Beside, 'evagelical Christian' and 'in thier right mind' mix about as well as fire and sand. One always snuffs out the other.
[A]"Fox News"
"Conservative"
[C]"In their right mind"
Which of these is not like the others?
[A]. Why? Because the liberal media oppresses christianity. LoL
The Rapture is not a biblical concept.
Technically, it is, as is based off the Book of Revalations. However, considering the BoR was a giant encrypted message of hope to the Christians of the time who were being truly persecuted for their faith (like being fed to lions), I tend to believe that the BoR may not be accurate.
No talk radio!? The AM band will have to be re-filled somehow. The right-wing talk stations will have new formats as ethnic Spanish-language stations. This will also produce a reduced demand for spectrum, lowering licensing costs and making it easier for independent (not monopoly-owned) stations to get on the air in small towns, with local news, high school sports, etc. This could be a good thing.
Yup, Faux News will lose all it's gullible viewers, the only ones who believed what they say is true. You do know that there are other channels, right? There are even countries where news HAVE to be in accordance with reality, or they are publicly reprimanded for it. No-one working at Faux News will be Raptured, of course (except perhaps custodial staff), as they have been lying way too much, and are much to fond of their golden calf...
Jesus was a commie hippie!
Bill O'Reily is a Catholic, so he won't be going. Glenn Beck is a Mormon so he won't be going. Then you figure in the hypocrites who spout neo-con ideals and/or Christian fundamentalism to keep themselves fed and famous.
Yeah, I'd say that your philosophy, your FOX "news" and your ignorant talk radio will survive your rapture just fine.
“Fox News channel will probably lose the most to the Rapture,”
Well, yes, but not the way you’re thinking.
Just read the quote the other day about ‘who cares if they (ICE detainees) are getting fed maggots?’ I really don’t think the Rapture is a thing, but I have played a lot of D&D. I can follow a rules system even if it’s not really reality.
I do not think that ‘who cares’ is the attitude that the Christ character was trying to encourage.
If there ever is a Rapture, I am certain that a WHOLE BUNCH of people who think they’re Christains are going to be left down here looking stupid.
And humans are SUCH great losers. They’re going to burn bibles, churches, televangelists…
And it will be like Nixon all over again. Whole bunch of people claiming they were never Christains, never conservative, never watched FOX, never even read the Bible…
Viewership is going to PLUMMET, down to a hard core of INSISTANT believers who swear that the Rapture hasn’t happend YET, that one was a false flag! TRUMP! TRUMP!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
