"Good atheist"? Is that like good indians or good jews?

As part Native American (as I imagine a good part of Americans are), I highly take offense at that statement. The Christian Europeans stole, raped, pilaged, plundered, and destroyed, all in the name of their religion, and now Natives are the bad people? This kind of ignorance makes me sick. I'm so pissed off, that I don't even know what to say. Go to hell, seems to suffice for now.
Exactly, like anything with "good" before it.
Except, you know, "fundie".
Yes it is, since most atheists, Indians [Did you mean: Native Americans?], and jews are good people.
I'm 1/512 Cherokee and 1/8 Oglala Lakota Sioux (the famous Chief Red Cloud is my great-great-grandfather on my father's side and RC's son was full blooded, that's all I really know).
But I'm also 100% atheist.
So... should I be 113% pissed off at this fundie?
Since 1492, "christians" have slaughtered over 100 million native americans - that is equivalent to 530 deaths per day, EVERY day for 516 years.
The only thing a "good" christian needs is 3 nails and a tree (plus a burning bible shoved up his ass)
Now don't get me started on how the "christians" treated the Polynesians, Aborigines, Asians and Africans.
Christianity is a fake religion that is soley responsible for the deaths of over 1 billion innocents, yet is the first to cry "we're being attacked" when challenged.
In the context of the thread, I think he was being facetious. This quote is him mocking the topic creator using the phrase 'good atheist', as if 'atheist' by itself connotes a bad person.
Double-check your sources people.
Being all three... I take offense at your stereotype implication. That aside, yes exactly. Because atheists, indians, and jews are all capable of being good people just as christians or any other group.
In a nutshell, yes. Remember that you most probably have a tiny fraction of Indian blood in your veins, since they were the first inhabitants of America, and that Jesus was a Jew. So?
Yep. There's lots of good natives and good Jews.
By the way, just so you know, native Americans are NOT Indians.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
