News Flash, lady cuntface, it was the friggin' Sith-led EMPIRE that was an opressive, xenophobic fascist state. Far-right is, by definition, fascist. Your Orange Emprah and his buttlickers are racist. So you are either lying like usual, or more delusional than we thought (and that's saying something). Not to mention that it's the Dark Side that's empowered by fear and hatred. Two things that your far-right are infamous for spreading.

Granted, I think the Empire was cool in certain ways(*), but that doesn't mean I'd want myself or anyone to live in it unless it had some serious improvements.
(*)If I lived in the New Republic I admit would have associated more with the more moderate parts of the Centrists, rather than the average Populists, but eh...
For every good point here, Lady Checkmate says something truly bonkers. It is true, for example, that I regularly see people praise murderous communists of the past and proceeding to clutch pearls when someone suggests that maybe the right doesn't have a monopoly on violence. On the other hand, she herself is defending the "both sides" comment, made in response to an incident organized by and for unambiguous Nazis. It is true that some on the left reject science on the grounds of pharmaceutical corporations sitting in their corporate offices being all corporationy. But even more common is right wingers rejecting that same science for whatever their idiotic reasons are.

Don't get me wrong, I think extreme left is just as bat-shit crazy as extreme right is. See the "Horseshoe Theory" for my beliefs on it.
Regardless, the extreme right seems to be far more vocal and obvious these days, so I'm focusing more on them.
Someone shpuld tell lady that the anti-vaccine movement is a problem on the left and the right. Both sides have people who are agianst vaccines for different reasons. And she thinks chemtrail conspiracy theorists are alt-left? Or that big government conspiracies are alt-left? Uh what?

She does not believe in free speech. (Explanation required here. As the admin of her own 'safe space' on the internet she is perfectly entitled to forbid certain people from coming in. However, as she has also criticised FaceBook for banning right-wingers, it is therefore safe to infer that she herself would consider her own activities censorious of 'free speech'.) 3 points.
She does agree more with the alt-right than the liberal left. A definite four points.
I, Citizen Justin, get just one (Che Guevara, if not his actions or allies... we agree on that). So that makes her four times as 'alt-left' as me.

In Oceania, the prevailing philosophy is called Ingsoc, in Eurasia it is called Neo-Bolshevism and in Eastasia it is called by a Chinese name usually translated as Death-Worship, but perhaps better rendered as Obliteration of the Self. The citizen of Oceania is not allowed to know anything of the tenets of the other two philosophies, but he is taught to execrate them as barbarous outrages upon morality and common sense.
Actually, the three philosophies are barely distinguishable and the social systems which they support are not distinguishable at all. Everywhere there is the same pyramidal structure, the same worship of a semi-divine leader, the same economy existing by and for continuous warfare.
I hope the old comments can be migrated over, I recall this one, just like all of Gingham’s posts, having some good ones.
