RIYADH (AFP) - Saudi Arabia's religious police have announced a ban on selling cats and dogs as pets, or walking them in public in the Saudi capital, because of men using them as a means of making passes at women, an official said on Wednesday.

Why don't we ban the MEN from going out in public, since they are the ones that seem to be incapable of the minutest amount of self-control. (I'm only referring to fundie men here, I'm just getting a little sick of their infantile behavior causing women, children and animals all these fucking problems)
"because of men using them as a means of making passes at women,"
Heterosexual discrimination. Weird.
So... they're banning them because they're cute?
Maybe they should ban everything else men use to attract women, such as wealth, humour, and physical fitness.
Hey, if you're going to be crazy, why not take it all the way?
Poor fundie men. They make themselves out to be such clumsy creatures, incapable of the minutest amount of self-control around a cute puppy or uncovered skin, but at the same time they want to be lionized as inherently superior human beings by simple virtue of gender. They want to be in charge and make the rules, and they also want to distance themselves from any kind of responsibility, performing complex back flips of logic anywhere there's a convenient lower class to blame.
Makes me sick to think this is only on the very extreme, obviously batshit insane end of the scale.
Well, theres no better tool for picking up chicks than a small dog.
"They have oil" - don't care, lets fuck with them anyway.
I am too fundie for my cat, too fundie for my cat, oh pussy, oh pussycat!
(sorry Right Said Fred, I couldn't resist)
Well I do tend to judge people on how they treat animals. And I have known men who use their dog to meet women (hey it works).
But the Saudis have the US so fucked up the ass it's embarrassing. But Bush and Co. keep grinning and passing back the lube.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
