Humor is a defense mechanism. Does anything threaten God?
Humor also depends on shifting your point of view, to nump you up out of your rut. If God’s omniscient, can he even hypothetically change his POV?

In the bible, there’s a warning about material things, in that a guy going back for a possession during the Rapture may miss his chance. So there’s enough time after the trumpet to pull over, and get out of the car, before flying skywards.

OH. You mean CONSERVATIVE humor. You should have said. Yeah, that humor is just bullying, then laugh.
With normal humor, we see things from a new angle, which causes a tension, then we laugh to relieve the tension.
Conservatives feel tension from the world changing without them, tell a ‘joke’ to reinforce their world view (such as that they’re still in charge), and laugh because that reduced the tension.
