[In response to a news article about an Indian toddler born with 4 arms and 4 legs.]
Yes, it is Vishnu...and what's REALLY weird (and makes me think a demon had SOMETHING to do with this) is that this girl was born on a day dedicated to Vishnu. So the Hindus were all aroused thinking she was an incarnation of that god.

Ok
A) according to one of those articles, it is a common belief in some parts of India that people born with some deformities are reincarnations of gods. So it's not like that thought just came out of nowhere. She is a reincarnation of Vishnu...and the boy a few miles away might be a reincarnation of Krishna.
B) "Yes, it is Vishnu"? For people who believe in the Hindu gods, and have the above-mentioned belief, and were celebrating a holiday dedicated to Vishnu, it makes sense that that's how they would see her. In fact, she does not like much like Vishnu at all. He had multiple arms, but no extra legs, and they all come out of his shoulders, not his pelvis. She does not look like Vishnu. She looks like somebody with a parasitic conjoined twin.
Vishnu H Christ on a cracker.
the Hindus were all aroused
Yeah, there were boners everywhere because a tragic developmental error fused two twins. Go screw yourself with molten steel.
I want to punch some of the people in that thread.
Angela: Are we nearly there yet? Can't be much longer, surely?!
SO if that's what they were thinking, why did the indian surgeons perform the procedure for free?
felixthecat: Maybe this family will get the greatest gift of all - Christ in their hearts.
This family needs prayers for that.
It's possible one of these doctors maybe a Christian. I know SOME are U.S. trained. Maybe one met a real Christian over here and became one. This is what Christians are supposed to do - be the light out there ... and NOT conform to evil to appease people.
Christians unite! Kill her! Kill the demon child/false god fusion with 8 limbs. Kill her I say!
What? The limbs were removed?
Nevermind. Go back to your fundying.
*HEADDESK*
WTF?!
The child in question had a parasitic twin, to whom the extra parts belonged. Surgeons removed the redundant limbs, and the little girl came through the surgery just fine, people.
Yeah, and you believe that the Son of God, who was also God, was born from a virgin. Like that somehow makes more sense.
Lakshmi is a very common Indian name. Its like Jesus in south america.
To be fair, she looked quite pathetic rather than awe inspiring...
And to be fair the concept of multiple arms for Gods is because they are "gods" they can look however they feel like. When they incarnate as human they carry only two arms.
If she was considered "sacred" then why did her parents send her for an operation to remove the conjoined twin. Its so she can lead a normal life rather than be treated like a freak. Don't give Hindus a bad name because you can't understand their naming process...
Confused?
