Wow. And here I thought Christian fundies were stupid. I suppose this "crack" runs along the edge of the dark/light sides of the moon, right? That's why you can't see the damned thing when you look at the moon with a telescope .
Seriously, how damned dumb can people get?
And this split occurred a few centuries back... strange, you think someone might have noticed that. (And by "someone" I mean "everyone".)

I don't think this loon is talking about impact fractures. I think he's talking about an actual crack/fault line/seam running completely around the surface of the moon.

PBUH means "Peace be upon him." Muslims put it after the names of their prophets (Adam, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad) as a sign of respect.

Apparently this guy isn't making it up, the moon splitting thing is considered a bonafide prophetic miracle by many Muslims, alongwith that one time when the Mo man got on a pegasus and took a complimentary tour of the universe.
On the other hand, there's also the story about people asking ol' Mo for miracles, and he said his only miracle was the Koran. So really standard fundie fantasies, nothing special.
