We have always been at war with Eastasia.
You know what fascinates me? I was disgusted as every other good person I know of when I read about the concentration camps in Chechnya and the horrible statements made by its government. But instead of condemnation of these actions and empathy for surpressed homosexuals everywhere, what did I find in nearly every comment section? Christian apologeticists who whine about not being allowed to be a bit more homophobic in western countries when islamic homophobes are "so much more horrible" and the "real thread" for gay people. Disgusting vultures. And I say that as a christian myself.
Just a country away pretty much(and yes Poland borders Russia actually for those who didn`t know, there`s this tiny part of the baltic shoreline called Kaliningrad territory and it`s Russian, also it`s one of the few places you`d really not want to find yourself in after dark, we polacks are afraid of the place and wouldn`t take it back even if the ruskies ever gave it).
Our authorities are literally envious of these fuckers. At this point the only thing I believe holds our own polish fascists at bay is the bare fact that we`re still in the union, though not for long I suppose...

Our particular tyrants decided to make this country into a real theocracy, imagine catholic Iran and this is not an exaggeration. Already there are draconian laws in place if you as much as dare to speak against the church on any other than most civil ground while they of course can attack you as savagely as they desire(the typical situation here of THEIR beliefs being protected but not ours). Last night we watched "Tickling Giants" on netflix, a documentary about the current egyptian crisis as seen through the eyes of one very dedicated comedian and to be honest we were both awash with cold sweat, all the symptoms are here, the story itself so damn close to home. Except we don`t even have that much, we have no awsome show like that and only a thinly veiled "Chairman`s ear" parody series which after its last episode(featuring Donald Tusk, the personal nemesis of our "Dear leader" trolling him through the phone on the latest failiure to block his reelection to the office of chairman of european council), might actually be off the air very soon just the same.
Just about a month more of this before we finally fly, I`ll relax the moment we get on board our flight.
