Let's add Acts to the gospels, since it was written by Luke.
Acts 12 contains a description of the escape of Peter from prison. Why would the author say that Rhoda the servant girl at Mark's mother's house ran back instead of opening the door when she recognized Peter's voice (v. 14)?
To make it sound more convincing? Or because it's true? To quote Jeremy Kyle, "Test says he's telling the truth"

Literally that whole thread is the deluded arguing that because there were minor details written into in the babble it must be a true record of eye witnesses and using CS Lewis's arguments claiming that had never happened before in human literature. (well, when the burden shifting isn't on the front burner anyway)

Not only is that demonstrably false, the intellectual dishonesty of that argument is exposed by Lewis himself when he uses that bullshit to try and make up for the fact his "trilemma" argument is fallacious horseshit. It intentionally neglects the option that Jesus, while possibly being a historical person, is mythologized by his followers for a half century before anybody bothered to write the tales down. That the so called synoptics differ and appear to be altered copies one another because they were naturally diverging oral tales being told in different regional areas the cult was growing in until they were finally frozen in writing.

The gullibility of people swallowing this shit thousands of years later whilst having access to the vast amount of mythology created by man at one's finger tips is fucking sad.
