Jesus warned us about Barack Obama many years ago.
Luke 10:18 "And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven"
Lightning [...] bâraq - baw-rak'
A primitive root; to lighten (lightning): - cast forth.
[...] bârâk - baw-rawk'
[...] lightning; by analogy a gleam; concretely a flashing sword: - bright, glitter (-ing, sword), lightning.
Heights [...] bâmâh - baw-maw'
From an unused root (meaning to be high); an elevation: - height, high place, wave.
A word in Hebrew used to join concepts together as a conjunction would is Waw which is often written as "U" or "O". So Lightning and the heights of Heaven, one would use a "U" or and "O".
"I beheld Satan fall as Baraq "O" Bamah.
*** Obama is Satan in disguise which is why I suspect the world loves him and people forgive his many atrocities.

And of course there's Butthead17:23
23 And behold, I met a Great douchbag; and upon him was a moron
24 who hated Africans for no particular reason
25 and others had to put up with him writing his stupidity.
Now that's a prophecy.
Hahahaha.
I spent almost a decade living in Germany and one of the things I learned very early on is that my last name, in German slang means "masturbate." The Germans predicted that as I grew up through my teenage years, I would masturbate. It was prophetic that I, and American, raised speaking English, would be born with a last name that means "masturbate" in another language.
See, I can make silly comparisons using words from different languages that have nothing to do with each other too.
Cretin; from Swiss French; Crestin, Christian.
A stupid person.
See, I can use a dictionary as well.
Um, even if we accept your original text explanation (which I don't), where is the word "heights" in the passage you cited? It's got the word heaven, but not heights.
Furthermore, I thought the book of Luke was written in Greek, not Hebrew.
Given that I could be wrong I googled the phrase "Hebrew word for lightning" and the first article -- which also comes from WND -- basically refutes this argument. Interesting...

Trouble is, Hebrew doesn't work like that; if you put a letter Vav before "bamah" what you get is "baraq uvamah." I've not heard of this President Uvamah.
Besides, "bamah" now means "stage" or "platform." And you've left out "Hussein" which means, er, "Hussein." Not very satanic.
This is just numerology crap applied to language. "If I take this, and then use this other part from over here, and read it upside down and backwards while twirling around thee times and standing on my head, I can make the buybull say just about anything".
@Mudak
Bamah occurs only once in the Bible, in Ezekiel 20:29, as the Israelites presented hypocritical offerings to God - "v'omar alehem - ma habamah , asher atem habayim shem; vayikre shema bama od hayom" which means "And I said to them - what is this high place where you are going? So up to today the name of the place is Bama." Perhaps krinks might think what the Bible says about hypocritical offerings.
The name "Barack" means "blessed" and is derived from the Semitic root B-R-K.
The word for "lightning" is "baraq," derived from the Semitic root B-R-Q, meaning "to flash or sparkle."
K and Q were distinct and separate consonants in Proto-Semitic, Q representing an "ejective" K-sound, which has no English equivalent.
There is some confusion over this because both consonants are pronounced like the English K in Modern Hebrew.
Oh, how cute; numerology with letters!
It's still complete and utter bullshit.
The world does not love Obama, and what atrocities are we supposed to forgive; the audacity to be born with brown skin? The world (parts of it anyway) feels that he's not doing enough to clear all the problems Baby Bush left behind.

Luke was written in Greek, not Hebrew, so it never says "Barak". Obama is an African name. Barak probably is, too, It's an Old Testament name, but that may be a coincidence. Gerrymandering an African name into similar-sounding Hebrew words is silly. It would be like trying to prove that a German named "Helmut" was named after a hat.
"his many atrocities"
Granted, he did cut food stamps and has tried to cut Social Security with no justification, but his bad acts are far fewer than your guys, who tanked the economy and lied us into a war that has killed hundreds of thousands people.
Did krinks forget Deuteronomy 18:9-12
9 When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the Lord your God.

No, he didn't. That's a lie.
Obama is Satan in disguise which is why I suspect the world loves him and people forgive his many atrocities.
Except every single Republican and Obama hasn't committed any atrocities.
"And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven"
See, now that just reminds me of the 90s Street Fighter movie. Didn't M. Bison get a line like that?
By this token, and these exact same definitions, you could easily argue that "Barack Obama" means "Light from the high place", and thus Obama is Jesus.
Confused?
