More like the immaculate deception by the Catholics. I used to be one. Mary did not have to be without sin for Christ to be without sin. We sin due to death being passed on to us at conception. The death gene is carried by the male. Jesus was begotten by holy spirit and so the death gene from Adam did not get passed through to Him. It is only by having death operating in us that we sin (Romans 5:12). Jesus was sinless. Therefore death was not operating in Him.

Whoa! Back up the bus. The "death gene?" Who discovered the "death gene." What chromosome is it on? The human genome project makes no mention of a "death gene." How do you know that only males have a "death gene?"

That's a mighty convenient cover you've cooked up to cover one of the gaping holes in Christian theology. Of course, it's just a made up, not worth shit, little story, but it IS convenient for you, isn't it?

It's one of the major tenets of your theology that death worked Jesus over pretty damn well. You did read that part, right? You know, the crucifixion... nails, blood, death?
I think the fundies should set up an entire school dedicated to the teaching of their science.

And the very fact is that he died, at least for two days. And just for the record, didn´t you remember, by chance, that according to traditions of the Catholic and Ortodox church, THE VIRGIN MARY DIDN´T DIE EITHER?. And animals, how do they die, just for the record?

Well, since we have mapped the entire human Genome, maybe we will be able to isolate this "death gene" among the other 30,000 genes and get rid of it. Oh wait, the passing down of genes from one parent to another is a part of evolution. Sorry but you just crushed your own faith with this one paragraph.
