Science vs. Religion which is true?
Answer : God invented science as a way to test his followers. It's like a challange, if they truly appreciate God, then they will overcome science and say that it's all God's work. You have to have strong faith when science tries to prove things.

Science means "test reality and whatever explains reality best is probably the answer, until we find out some more stuff"
Religion says "This is right, trust me, otherwise something bad will happen to you"
It defends a lack of evidence with supernatural bullying.
I smell a troll.
But 5 anyway.
The science is valid when the empiricists and rationalists agree.
Religionists have no input, unless you can count "goddidit" as input....
Why its religion dumb ass, Duh. That why Microsoft, Intel, Sunnmicro systems, IBM, etc.. all refer to the bible for design information. They look to alchemy for new materials.
The thing that troubles me the most about fundamentalism is that all thinking, science, and knowledge are construed as bad things, and as proof that God "tests" our faith.
It troubles me that God apparently lets us think, reason, and learn JUST SO HE CAN FUCK WITH US.
I find it odd that even though science is just some illusion to test our faith, that it seems to be good enough to allow for all the great technological advances you see today. If God is lying to us about science, he's doing a damn good job of it!
I'm still of the opinion that, if there is a God, it created religion as a test of our commitment to honesty, self improvement and tolerance.
Ok, I get it! Science is bad, bible is good, so here is the deal:
1. We transport you to the middle of the Amazon jungle.
2. We strip you of all clothes and shoes
3. You are dropped off without anything, naked and only with your bible,
Try to survive 48 hours.
Let's assume your claim is true. Now, go read Psalm 139, and ask yourself, why does God need to test us?
Like there's not enough things that God has provided, even to those brainwashed enough to worship him blindly, that test and harm everyone. After enough "testing", even when I was a happy mindless believer in God, I finally had had enough.
I tried that challenge and you know, I've found out that science works better. For one, the only way the bible can heat my food is by burning it, science has provided me with the microwave.
That god guy, boy, what a tricky bastard! Why, he acts almost like...almost like...well, maybe just like...The Devil, Himself!
How in hell can anybody tell them apart?
God invented fundies as a way to test the patience of those he gave half a brain to.
By the way, you contradicted yourself. God invented science, so that his followers could deny it. Do you idiots actually know what the fuck you are saying?
"God invented science as a way to test his followers. It's like a challange, if they truly appreciate God, then they will overcome science and say that it's all God's work. You have to have strong faith when science tries to prove things."
2 Thessalonians 2:11: 'And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie'
So it's actually God, and not Satan who is the Great Deceiver. The Bible says it, as you do, I didn't.

Not many gaps left. And you know what happens to deities once gaps are filled. Just ask Zeus, Amun-Ra, Jupiter...
"God invented science as a way to test his followers. It's like a challange"
One you just failed.
Science works, yet you choose to believe in a fantasy that doesn't. If any god "invented" science, it was as a way to arrive at fundamental and utilitarian truths about the universe that could be tested, checked and verified, thereby removing the chance that any false or corrupted view of his/her creation could be held indefinitely.
The argument that "God uses science to test faith" is ultimately self defeating because science, i.e. knowledge, wins over faith every time. A test in which every attempt to discern the correct answer returns the very answer you argue God does not want us to arrive at is the polar opposite of 'intelligently designed'.
Confused?
