The abortion clinics she had opened up were in lower income neighborhoods that were mostly populated by black people. But hey, that could've just been a conincedence... It just goes to show you that abortion stems from hatred.

Margharet Tatcher was very conservative and many of her voters complained, not by chance, that abortion was made for rich girls who comitted a mistake(it costs MONEY). It's true that low income families abort, but black people abort more or less as whites do. Go to a sociology class.
You know, the Jim Crow Laws may be gone, but it’s still very hard for African Americans to escape poverty. It is also the lower class that needs abortions the most, many of them simply can’t afford to have children.

Abortion clinics are totally open to any race (unlike most fundie churches, country clubs, and oddly enough, from my observation, most anti-abortion groups, in short most neo-con, GOP organizations). I think this person might be referring to Margaret Sanger. Margaret Sanger =! Margaret Thatcher.
Anyway, from what I've read, most of the quotes used to condemn Sanger as a racist were taken out of context.

And yes, Sanger was slghtly racist, but (not that this excuses it) many people were so at the time. But I doubt very much that any racism on her part was the reason she distributed contraception.
Abortion clinics are often established in low-income areas because that's where they are needed. Higher income persons have the income to go to private physicians if they wish and have the transportation resources to go to clinics or doctors offices out of their immediate area.
Abortion stems from many things, but hatred is not one of them.
Delirium Well, that is quite possible. But to some fundies, one woman out of the home is like any other woman out of the home. So, they may not even realize that Sanger and Thatcher are two different people: afterall, they were both women named Margaret and they both worked outside the home! Oh NOES!!!1111!!

Also, I've known racists who were pro-choice as well as racists who were pro-life. How can it matter on only one side of the issue?

Britain is 90 to 95 % white. Most non-whites are asian. The poor areas are very often white only. We have "black areas" but we don't have huge black-only ghettos like in the US.
