I'd just like to say that EVEN if those points were entirely true (they're not even partially true and if they are the author has failed to provide proof or arguments for any of them) they would be completely irrelevant to the validity of atheism. If gods don't exist then atheism is valid, end of discussion. It doesn't matter if people start killing each other because because of this (which they don't).

Statistics please. I mean atheists and non-religious probably make up barely 5-10% of the population. How convenient to blame everything bad in society on a minority. I mean, do some real research if you're going to throw around some dumbass accussations against millions of people you don't even know. I dunno, for example compare Sweden's crime rate (which has a pretty high percentage of atheists/agnostics/non-religious) with the USA's. Tell me what results you get.
There's not even a correlation (worldwide) between religious views and morality/crime. Christians commit crimes, Muslims commit crimes, atheists commit crimes.
Yet, how often have you seen atheists commit crimes for completely stupid reasons? Did atheists commit 9/11 that killed thousands of people? No dumb fuck, it was a group of fanatical muslims who believed they were doing the work of Allah. Even extremely immoral atheists would never commit such an act, because they at least value their own life and won't do something that doesn't benefit them. Many fanatics don't even value their own life, which makes these individuals even more dangerous for society.

Now I'm not saying that Christianity promotes racism. How about sexism and homophobia then? How about xenophobia? Those things are clearly and explicitly promoted in your religion. Atheism is just the view that gods don't exist, it cannot even remotely encourage racism or bigotry. Your statement makes about as much sense as chocolate promoting pedophilia. Most atheists are actually intelligent and very liberal people, who believe in equal rights for all races. Religions and stupid traditions have always been an obstacle to equality, not the belief that gods do not exist.
