According to a Romanian superstition, if you point at a rainbow, your fingers will drop off. [/"QI"]
A rainbow doesn't physically exist, but it can be seen. So where does that leave the concept of the 'Spiritual'/'Supernatural' then, if something non-material such as a merely visual phenomenon that can easily be explained, nay, replicated is seen, eh...?!
...oh, and I've seen plenty of rainbows in my time. Still here, still existing; as do all the people around me/in my locale/in my country/on this planet. I've pointed out said rainbows to others - when the rain has stopped & the sun's come out - saying 'Ooh look, a rainbow!' My fingers haven't dropped off, so as per that Romanian superstition, where does that leave yours in relation to cold, hard, scientific, Materialistic fact, eh Chris...?!

Spock (Leonard Nimoy): 'Nothing unreal exists.'
Computer: 'Correct.'
