Let's get to the point, all other civilizations outside of Christian cultures are behind in industry, technology and human rights. There is only one God, and the only way to that one God is through Jesus Christ. Bottom line. That's it.

Let's get to the point, all other civilizations outside of Enlightened cultures are behind in industry, technology and human rights. There is only one world, and the only way to understand it is by reading books and performing experiments.
Fixed.
@ Evil Deadite: Japan is not a christian culture, and has been a leader in industry, technology, and human rights. though I should not have had to explain this to you.
While that isn't strictly true, I agree that it is amazing what we've been able to accomplish despite your inerference. Why, imagine the advances that might be made if you fundies weren't around to impede the rest of us with your stupidity!
Hi,
Japan has been mentioned, but what about China? It's industry kicks everybody's ass worldwide (partly due to a clever, well educated albeit ruthless government). And remember Korea, Singapur and the like.
And just to mention the states on the arabian peninsula. Currently they really have problems to invest their trillions of oil-money, whereas xtian USA is broke. For sure they are floating on oil, but as muslims shouldn't G_WD have left them with their barren deserts and nothing else?
CU in hell..
Let's go back to the middle ages, shall we?
While the Christians in Europe were fighting amongst themselves and dying of the plague, the Muslims were busy resurrecting Greek traditions and inventing algebra, while the Chinese were exploring the world and doing much the same.
@Blakey
The original statement involves 3 things being compared. The Arabian states, while quite rich (that is some few people being very rich), excel in neither. Moreover they do seem to be quite behind in human rights for example.
Korea and Singapore certainly are not as rich as the Arabian states but they do seem to enjoy better "industry", much better technology level but I am under the impression that they also lack in the human rights department.
China I think doesn't need comments.
Of all the countries mentioned here as exceptions to the original statement only Japan qualifies.
Glad you've finally come to terms with your racism and nationalism.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step.
also, i agree with andreus. I think we're all too quick to jump on each other for any possible mistake, even if there is none. let's all cut each other a little slack...
China, Japan, India all behind - bollocks.
Go into NASA or silicon valley, and you will be able to count the non-Americans on the thumbs of one foot.
Christianity has been the greatest INHIBITOR to human progress.
Christianity is a fake religion. Bottom line. That's it.
Strange then that through out most of history places like China and the middle east were far more advanced than Europe.
and as someone else has already said, it's more to do with the Enlightenment than Christianity.
Impressive generalization, so what about all the South American christian cultures? Oh wait, I forgot, christian God only likes white people.
your religion is based on a blood sacrifice with regular ingestions of blood and flesh, subjugation, fear, hatred for others who do not share your view and spending your life trying to meet impossible demands. Human rights my ass.
"There is only one God, and the only way to that one God is through this other God, who is the one God's son, who is himself, and then there's this other God, who is the other two Gods, but in spirit-form."
Japan is roaring past the Americas technologically...hell, they roared past us in the 80s as I recall...by now we're just a dot on the horizon.
As for human rights...YOUR GODDAMN PRESIDENT DEFENDED TORTURE. YOU HAVE A BASE DEDICATED TO TORTURE IN FUCKING CUBA. The fact that Gitmo was declared to be exempt from the Geneva Convention should raise big fucking red flags to any sane person.
Let's see, the ancient Greeks weren't Christians, and they were light years ahead of the Hebrew cultures. The Mayans weren't Christian, yet their understanding of astronomy was spectacular. China and Japan, two countries that aren't traditionally Christian, have always been ahead of the western world in developing new technology.
Meanwhile, whenever the Christian religion takes over, everything seems to halt. Technology and knowledge is even suppressed or destroyed, ala the dark ages. Take a look at what happened in Rome: They embraced Christianity, and the empire fell.
Human rights? Hah. Christians used to burn people at the stake or chop off their heads for believing in the 'wrong' version of the bible. Christians formed the KKK and murdered thousands of blacks, insisting that God created whites to be the superior race. Christians were responsible for women being treated like property, and in some places STILL think that men should hold authority over women. Christians are currently the main oppressor of homosexuals, bisexuals and the transgendered.
Generally, it's SECULAR society that brings progress, while Christianity just gets in the way.
Mrs Antichrist (#751634) in general has a point I would quibble with one point.
"China and Japan, two countries that aren't traditionally Christian, have always been ahead of the western world in developing new technology"
This is most definitely not the case. It's true that a lot of modern inventions trace their origins back to China but by the time of the Industrial Revolution the impetuous was definitely on the side of Europe (why this was so is probably worth a few doctoral dissertations).
Japan is even less accurate since they've only been considered technological leaders since the second half of the twentieth century. Even after they ended their isolationist period in the 1860's a lot of their stuff was still imported. (Prior to WWII a lot of the Imperial Japanese Navy's warships were British built for example).
That being said in the modern age all hail
Izanami-no-mikoto
Izanagai-no-mikoto
Amertarasu-omikami
Tsukiyomi
Susano-o-no-mikoto
Hachiman
Inari
Benzaiten
Ame-no-Uzume
and all the other kami of Heaven and Earth.
Japan doesn't have a spotless human rights record, if you count its whitewashing of WW2 atrocities.
This is still failure though of course.
Well, even the West isn't a predominantly "christian" culture.
The roots of our culture originate in greek and roman culture and philosophy.
Jesus was just a strange and completely overrated 'add-on'.
Ok, in the meanwhile we need:
a)the mathematics, the numbers you write with, by the way of Romans, Greeks, Indians, Arabs, etc..............
b)The computers from India
c)the petrol from Saudi Arabia or Venezuela
d)workforce from all around the world...........
Just to make our technology, industry and human rights work, asuming that outside Christianity there isn´t a single civilisation that produces it. Bottom line. That´s it.
How many female presidents have the US had? How many female presidents/prime minstiers have India, Pakistan, Burma (elected, but not ruling), Bangladesh, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Mozambique and Jamaica had?
How many of your technological appliances are made in North America or Europe, and how many are made somewhere in Asia?
How many days paid maternal leave does the US have? And how many paid days maternal leave do Angola, Egypt, Uganda, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Jordan and Vietnam have?
Where's the evidence that there is just one God, and that it's your particular one that is the One? No, the Bible doesn't count, or the Koran and the Edda also count as evidence. Didn't God speak of other gods in the Bible?
Confused?
