*twitch* Believe, dumbass. Apparently your mother not only neglected to teach you science, but English, as well.
"I am homeschooled(sic) and I dont(sic) beleave(sic) in evolution."
We can tell you are "homeschooled(sic)."
Kill your parents.
They're real live shit.
I am homeschooled
No surprise there.
and I dont beleave in evolution.
No surprise there, either.
I dont even know why people argue about it I mean people should just say ( wow what tard though of that) or (what tard would beleave that) lol.
I understand you are a person of great intellect.
"I mean people should just say ( wow what tard though of that) or (what tard would beleave that) lol."
People should just say or lol?
Yeah you meant "" instead of (). Stop embarrassing us homeschooled people with your argument from mockery and your abuse of punctuation.
I dont even know why people argue about it I mean people should just say ( wow what tard though of that) or (what tard would beleave that) lol.
And why? What evidence do you have?
Wait, wait, lemme guess. THUH BAAAAAHBLE.
I am homeschooled...
And it shows.
lol I think I found a poe in that thread:
"Good for you child! You are a true product of homeschooling. Your natural intelligence and grace shine right thru all that Evolution mambo-jambo that nobody but Evolutionists, scientists, non-believers,rational and intelligent people believe. But, thank GOD we are not any of that! We are True Christians!"
"And still waiting...Of course, some may argue that prayer does not work quite as fast an antibiotics but it works!"
It's from Ferjesus
I "beleave" that your teacher is an idiot. Whoever let them teach you should have said (you're too dumb and crazy to teach another human as though you know what you're talking about).
Yeah, your spelling and grammar have "fundy homeshooling" written all over them.
"I am homeschooled and I dont beleave in evolution."
You also can't spell or punctuate properly. Wow, what a coincidence!
Poe or not Poe this is the question.
If not Poe I´d say:
People will just say about you
"You don´t "beleave" in Evolution? Let´s guess, you are homeschooled, aren´t you?"
"I am homeschooled and I dont beleave in evolution."
Do you, perhaps, believe in proper spelling?
"I am homeschooled and I dont beleave in evolution. I dont even know why people argue about it I mean people should just say ( wow what tard though of that) or (what tard would beleave that) lol."
I see those critical thinking and philosophical argument classes paid off.
I second CeilingCat. I was home schooled for five and a half years, not all of us are idiots brought up by fundie parents.
---For the record, my brother's medical condition was delicate and he required 24 hour care. It was far easier for my parents to home school us both then it was to send one to school and the other not.
Correct English - as learned in school - real school:
I am homeschooled and I don't believe in evolution. I don't even know why people argue about it. I mean people should just say (wow what tard thought of that) or (what tard would believe that) lol.
'tard' is not an English word.
When you go to real school you learn how to speak properly, and to spell, and to construct real sentences.
Burger tossing for you, I'm afraid.
I am homeschooled and I dont beleave in evolution. I dont even know why people argue about it I mean people should just say ( wow what tard though of that) or ( what tard would beleave that) lol .
Unfortunately, I can't bold the lack of commas, so not all of his grammatical mistakes can be shown in this way.
I wish I had access to your final term papers.
EVOLUTION OR CREATION WITHC IS RIGHT
Ok ma here goes i beleave in creation because its in the BIBLE and (besides evolution is for tards ) so come on THE END.
It's idiots like this that give homeschooling a bad name. I've been 'homeschooled' since the middle of 9th grade (I'm in grade 12 now) through the Fraser Valley Distance Education centre - fvdes.com
I basically go into the centre pick my electives, and collect my textbooks. I actually have teachers that mark the work I send in, I take tests at the centre, and do Provincial exams (finals).
Is there anything like this in the States, or is it a sort of free-for-all??
cyvr,
It depends. Every state has different regulations, which often permit more than one way to homeschool. Most areas have an independent study program through a local public school or charter, which sound similar to what you're describing. There are also private schools catering to homeschoolers which offer something similar.
Oversight can vary a great deal. Some states require standardized testing, others prefer evaluation annual of progress by a professional, some require a degree, consultation with another homeschooling family or special classes to get started, some only require that records be kept never look at them. In Texas, you don't even have to fill out a form let the state know that you're homeschooling.
Again, there may be more than one legal homeschooling option in a state, with different record keeping and oversight requirements.
Such a stunning rebuttal, and a shining example of the good that homeschooling can do for a child.
TO BE FAIR, I don't mean Homeschooling is bad, I mean that there are degenerates out there deliberately shielding their children from knowledge.
This post is just sad. "vegenace" will probably never have an original thought in his or her life.
If you think about it, that's not funny at all.
Especially since vegenace is/will be able to vote.
I have no problems with people homeschooling if there's special medical needs, &c. But "schooling" your child in a way so that they would not learn things (which is what fundie homeschooling is all about - shielding the children from inconvenient truths)? Despicable.
Unfortunately, this is America, where everybody has the God-given right to fuck up their child.
I was homeschooled (mercifully, only up until fourth grade, which was damaging enough...then I was sent to a private Baptist school, which was so much better) and still came out a godless homosexual...though probably more depressed and socially inept than I would have been otherwise. Success!
"I am homeschooled and I dont beleave in evolution"
Yeah, well 'hoemskuling' will do that to you. As opposed to regular educational establishments that encourage you to think for yourself.
"I dont even know why people argue about it"
See above. Also the shitload of evidence for evolution.
"I mean people should just say ( wow what tard though of that) or (what tard would beleave that) lol."
Which is precisely why you've been quoted here on FSTDT. For the "lol"s. And to point out what a complete arse you are. Wow, what tard would even think of saying what you did?
Only stupid people argue about it, intelligent and educated people take evolution for granted, and move on from there.
Most sane people can also spell "believe". Is your name perhaps supposed to be vengeance, btw?
When we hear your drivel, we will indeed say "wow, what a tard".
"I am homeschooled and I dont beleave in evolution."
I graduated a public high school, and I don't believe in evolution, either. I don't believe in gravity. Or electricity. 4 color map theory.
I don't believe 2+2=4.
However, it has been demonstrated to me with sufficient evidence that I accept that 2+2=4. I accept evolutionary theory. I accept gravity, electricity, map theory, all for the same reasons.
I don't accept using parenthetical marks to indicate quotes. I don't accept name-calling as a compelling rebuttal.
Confused?
