Title: ANSWERED CONTRADICTIONS IN THE BIBLE
This is too easy!
...
Contradiction:
1. Genesis 17:1, 35:11, 1Chronicles 29:11-12, Luke 1:37 God is omnipotent. Nothing is impossible with (or for) God.
2. Judges 1:19 Although God was with Judah, together they could not defeat the plainsmen because the latter had iron chariots.
Response:
What is this supposed to mean?

I think that we all, just in case, should get an iron chariot, that should keep (Jehova and his) fundies at bay.
It means that your Bible is a near worthless tome filled with horror stories, bad advice and, wait for it, contradictions.
Judges 1:19 Although God was with Judah, together they could not defeat the plainsmen because the latter had iron chariots.
Response:
What is this supposed to mean?
It means that God's not got a fucking chance against this kind of thing...

I love how all his responses include phrases such as, "It was likely that", "He could have possibly" and "It's quite possible that"... to defend his arguments.
That's a lot of guessing and assuming for such a 'perfect' book.
And yet, when we try to do that, they shout- "It's not in there like that! If it's not in there, it doesn't count!"
1) Your God's not all powerful
2) Your fairy tales not even thought out that well
3) You've lived too much of your life on ridiculous notions of a diety who controls all
4) religion can't even explain itself
someone should make a movie about the bible, but make it from the POV of people in the middle ages, who would have understood that NOTHING can defeat iron chariots, not even god.
Oh? Oh, ooh, ooooooh yes, IRON CHARIOTS! I see what you mean. Even though nothing is impossible for god, iron chariots are another story altogether. Totally understandable that even the all-powerful god of the universe couldn't defeat iron chariots. Duh!
I suppose iron chariots were very frightening weapons back in the day. They were swift, and they could mow through troop formations, causing disorder and panic among the men. The men of Judah surely couldn't defeat the iron chariots of the plainsmen. Even with their "God".
It means God cannot harm iron despite being its supposed creator.
Ah, contradictions, how we love you.
Iron chariots diminish god's influence. And yet one of the most prized items in American Culture is an automobile. Damn the evil atheist conspiracy is good at subverting Christian nations aint it?
Evil Atheist Conspiracy, subverting the Jesusites since 1903.
Confused?
