If Christianity is not a religion, then it shouldn't receive the tax exemptions and Constitutional protection that come with being a religion. By the way, regarding salvation by good works, what do fundies make of the parable of the sheep and the goats?

I'm a Christian. I've read The Satanic Bible . I have a lot of atheist friends. Not a single one of them lives their life by the principles put forth in LaVey's book; not one of them. In fact, on the whole, the Christians I know are closer to living their lives by those principles than the atheiests....
To James. I believe in neither god or satan. They are both entities created by humans millennia ago. Atheism is the LACK of belief in a supreme being, or any other associated supernatural creation. I believe in science, evolution, and trying to get on with my life and being the best person I can possibly be.

Considering that I don't actually believe Satan exists I wouldn't really care at all. It would be a funny coincidence if the Satanic bible held many of my views and opinion, but I've never read it so I can't really comment.
Christianity is a religion because it was stated by a man called Jesus Christ and his followers set the cult the way we know it. It is well documented, unlike the Satanic Bible you speak about, which is not possesed by any atheist I know.
