Shadow needs to get his facts straight. No serious scientist supports evolution anymore. The science just isn't there. In fact a serious study of the actual theory breaks down pretty quickly. Creationism isn't based around doctrinal religious beliefs.

Find me an aircraft hangar. The biggest one that there is. It still wouldn't be big emough to hold the shitloads of evidence for Evolution.

Just ask Michael Behe. His own 'Intelligent Design' theory broke down faster than a house of cards in a hurricane in Kitzmiller vs. Dover.

It's based on nothing but 'doctrinal religious beliefs'. Are you going to say to the face of the Honourable Judge John E. Jones III that he's wrong? Especially considering the fact that, like you, he's a Conservative Christian.

The basis of the ToE, Charles Darwin? He was buried in Westminster Abbey, the central place of worship of the Church of England (itself the basis of modern Protestant Christianity; Henry VIII, and all that jazz). Himself a Christian (indeed, in his early years, was in training to enter the C-of-E's clergy). But post-discoveries, he became an agnostic. PROTIP: The Church of England's clergy readily admit that much of the Bible is purely fable and metaphor. At the time of the first publication of "On the Origin of Species" - which sold more than the Bible at the time - the C-of-E fully embraced Darwin's new thinking on the origins of humanity.
