He called countries with darker skinned people shit holes. Implying that people who come from there are shitty people. Then used Norway, a predominantly white country as a shining example of where people should come from.

Haiti and some African nations actually are shitholes. Trump was right about that - although whether he as President was right to say so, and the context in which he did, is a completely different ball park.
Every time that dumbass opens his mouth, he butchers another piece of U.S.' soft power. I fully admit to occasionally referring to the worst sort of third-world environments with the terms "shithole" or "hellhole".
What I try to avoid is implying that there is inherently something wrong with a person who comes from such an environment. If I did somehow did so by accident, then I would acknowledge it, apologize, and move on. Well, maybe I'd argue if the person in question appears to only think so due to a completely batshit interpretation of my words, but I'm *trying* to learn not to argue with such idiots.
