It might be a subtle difference, but the Homosexual Pride rainbow contains only six colors... not the 7 that are in the rainbow. I find it more than coincidental, that 7 is the number of perfection, and 6 is the number of sin/sinful man.

Who the fuck draws rainbows with indigo, anyways? And, for the record, most rainbows will not contain all seven colors. You'll generally only see orange, yellow, green, blue.

The rainbow has an almost infinite number of colors (I'm not sure if quantum effects result in a discrete number), including "colors" that are invisible (infrared and ultraviolet). Our eyes have only three types of color receptors, centered on red, green and blue. The colors in between stimulate multiple receptors and we perceive them by how much each receptor is stimulated. Since the fundie God presumably knows all of this, seven colors shouldn't have any particular significance to Him.
David and Papabear : I'm not sure where it actually comes from, but the number 7 is consider by Christians to be the number representing God and is therefore perfect. Could be because of the creation story; you know, 7 days and all, plus other events that happened in sevens. The Trinity is represented by 777. And since 6 is less than (or under)7, this also is probably where the 666 representing the Antichrist comes from and actually stands for the "unholy Trinity" of evil: Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet.

How can 6 be evil when the "devil's number" is 616? Even if it WERE 666, that's a vastly different number then 6. That's tantamount to claiming 1 is the same as 1000. Is there anything in the fundie world that doesn't look like a demon?
Indigo is no longer truly included in the stereotypical spectrum of the rainbow. Go ahead. Ask any physics professor and they'll tell you...oh, wait. You're a fundy, and physics is evil to you, or at least you think it's evil. Sorry about that.
Seven is the numbers of the colour in the spectrum and the perfection aspect is just cultural. In Sumer, for example, it was 6, yes, THE NUMBER OF SIN.

"The Trinity is represented by 777."is the Antichrist, but someone imagined a third identity just to complete the set. Incidentally, the Antichrist is mortal, and not a parallel incarnation of Satan. For that matter, Satan (originally Lucifer) is a fallen angel, and they don't rank the same perks as God anyway. Lucifer's punishment was not a promotion; being the most powerful evil entity in the universe does not automatically make you the most powerful good entity's equal.
FYI: the title of Crowley's "777" has no relation to any christian notion of it representing the trinity.
