Snopes is a joke. Type in Barrack Obama is the antichrist. It states untrue. First, let me say this; I don't believe in any way that Obama is the AC, the AC will be a lot smarter than this guy. But, how can Snopes give a definitive answer to that question...??? There is no confirmation or evidence that he is or isn't, the answer is purely political.

Naturally, the comments after the above mention how Snopes is unreliable because they "slant facts."
That clanging is the sound of an irony meter being beaten to death with a pot and kettle.
Did you question if Bush was the Antichrist? No? Well you know that "There is no confirmation or evidence that he is or isn't, the answer is purely political."
Though there is no such thing the Antichrist.
Therefore the two are exactly equiprobable. There is a 50% chance that Obama is the antichrist until more evidence comes in, right?
Probability for the win!!
Snopes does a hell of a lot more research than you do, pal. They're suggesting that since Obama doesn't fit the criteria for being the Anti-Christ, then in all likeliness he isn't. Just like all the other people that have been accused of being the Anti-Christ.
Snopes is more reliable than the Bible ever could be, and this "Antichrist" is nothing more than a myth, therefore, Snopes is absolutely correct in stating that Obama is NOT the Antichrist.
Now STFU, plzkthx.
Given how Bush fucked up so much in just eight years, I think we actually narrowly avoided the worst of the AntiChrist's plans. After all, the bible never said the AC had to be a black man, right?
"Snopes is a joke. Type in Barrack Obama is the antichrist. It states untrue."
Imagine that.
"First, let me say this; I don't believe in any way that Obama is the AC, the AC will be a lot smarter than this guy."
Yeah, because Obama is a gibbering half-wit that strings together sentence fragments while making inappropriate remarks anytime he's given the chance, unlike the last guy in office who was Mensa material if ever I've seen any.
"But, how can Snopes give a definitive answer to that question...???"
It's not hard to say something is untrue when part of the requirement for it to be true doesn't exist. You know, that whole antichrist not existing thing and all.
"There is no confirmation or evidence that he is or isn't, the answer is purely political."
Oh, sure. Reality has nothing to do with it at all.
"First, let me say this; I don't believe in any way that Obama is the AC, the AC will be a lot smarter than this guy."
Gotta love how to these guys, Obama is stupid. Give them a truly brilliant leader who speaks well and REALLY knows her stuff, like Sarah Palin!
They can say that BHO isn't the anti-christ because they know that I am.
You'll be hearing more from me, very soon....
P.S.
I took the brown acid in '69
Well, real world works in a totally different way to yours, apparently. They check what the Bible really says about the antichrist, not what you think it should say for your political convenience.
> There is no confirmation or evidence that he is or isn't, the answer is purely political.
And the day Barack Obama turns over the presidency to his follower, you'll realise that the opposite statement is purely political, too . If, after that day, you keep going on about how Barack Obama is the Antichrist, you'll get told "dude, no one cares."
In fact, engaging just a little bit of brain would let you see that all Antichrist claims ever have been purely political.
The AC in DC. I strongly recommend that you do not mix AC and DC.
What is it with you American Vampire Batshitters that you think the world begins and ends with America? The Antichrist might decide that Australia or Europe are far more pleasant places to do his/her stuff. Say three times: America is not the Omphalos Kosmoi.
~There. I'll bet you are feeling better already.
Now, I'll let you into a little secret, I am here already (in Europe) and I am so pissed off with fundy America that I have decided to call off all this End Times stuff so that you fundy Christians will forever look like the fools you are.
So if you don't believe he's the antichrist, and Snopes agrees with you, what's the problem?
Oh right, deep down, you really do believe he's the antichrist, or at least would really like to believe it.
"I don't believe in any way that Obama is the AC, the AC will be a lot smarter than this guy."
Yeah, everybody knows a nigger is too stupid to be the Antichrist.
That page doesn't say that Obama is not the antichrist. It simply states (correctly) that the bible does not say that Obama is the antichrist. In fact, nowhere in the bible does it ever say anything about an antichrist, so according to Christianity there's no such thing as an antichrist. Revelation does mention several beasts which may or may not refer to the devil or demons, but never mentions anything about any of them coming to Earth to do battle with Jesus. So, Snopes.com can clearly and definitively answer the question of whether the bible shows that Obama is the antichrist.
The only problem I have with Snopes is the popups.
Yes, the answer is purely political. And there are people who disagree politically with you. That's for starters. Besides, either he is the Antichrist or not. You can't say that it's "purely political" opinion.
Gideon if you read the Bible you would know that Snopes.com anaylsis of the sample e-mail stating that Obama is the Antichrist, you would be supportive of Snopes.com reply.
The book of Revelation never mentions an Antichrist. It is mentioned, however, in the First Epistle of John as anyone who denies the divinity of Jesus Christ. It does mention an Antichrist comming along with another line of Antichrists before that one. It is nothing like what you have seen or possibly read in the Left Behind Series.
That's how Snopes can give an answer.
Snopes is a joke. Type in Barrack Obama is the antichrist. It states untrue.
Except that it doesn't.
First, let me say this; I don't believe in any way that Obama is the AC, the AC will be a lot smarter than this guy. But, how can Snopes give a definitive answer to that question...???
They don't claim to give a definitive answer to the general question. The give a definitive answer to an series of chain e-mails claiming that Barack Obama matches various claims about the antichrist from the bible. The bible makes no such claims therefore the e-mail they refute is untrue.
There is no confirmation or evidence that he is or isn't, the answer is purely political.
No, it isn't political, your entire objection is based in the fact that you DID NOT even bother to read the page. You just saw what you thought was answer and ran with it, without any consideration as to whether or not you had made the correct conclusion or not.
"Snopes is a joke. Type in Barrack Obama is the antichrist. It states untrue." ...
"I don't believe in any way that Obama is the AC." ...
"But, how can Snopes give a definitive answer to that question...???" ...
"There is no confirmation or evidence that he is or isn't..." ...
I find your entire sentence to be delightfully chockfull of contradictive statements one bouncing off of another. You sir, bear the distinguishable mark of Christian Fundamentalism... and so does your entire quote. It completely reeks of ignorance and stupidity.
