"SAN DIEGO, Jan. 5, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- In an annual online poll conducted by DefendChristians.Org, a ministry of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission, the surprising number one rated anti-Christian act of 2010 was the threat of the federal government interfering in the employment decisions of ministries. If passed, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) would have forced ministries to hire people who don't uphold the faith and values of the organization. For the second straight year it was the policies of the Federal Government that topped the list. In 2009 the Federal Hate Crime law was ranked number one."
*YAWN*
Christian organisations here in the UK have had to abide by anti-discrimination laws for years. The Salvation Army, Christian Aid etc employ Atheists in whatever post/position they're in. The world hasn't ceased to exist as a result.
So you fundies in the US will have to do the same. Ever hear of something called Romans 13:1-2? Your own scripture orders to abide by the law. You didn't say word one when your God Emperor of Fucking Up, George Dumbya Bush introduced the Patriot Act, something infinitely more significant socio-politically (certainly had more impact, human rights-wise - and not for the better). So bend over, drop trou, and take the pain.

2. Vaughn Walker; California judge who overturned Proposition 8, a State Constitutional Marriage Amendment that defined marriage as a union of one man and one woman."
PROTIP: Vaughn Walker was initially appointed by Ronnie Raygun, until it was successfully opposed by a number of Democrat senators, led by Nancy Pelosi (oh, the irony!). But a few years later, he was personally appointed by George HW Bush.
Raygun & Bush I were voted in by the Religious Right. Oh, the irony II.
Hindsight isn't 20-20, I think you'll find, fundies. Your own lack of foresight in your political decisions merely serves to destroy your own agenda. Five Words: Judge Jones. Kitzmiller versus Dover.
"They're persecuting us by not letting us persecute them! Waaaaah!"
