You mean 'What created life so that it could exist on this randomly placed planet?', don't you? And the answer is 'Nothing'. Chemical reactions took place, some were self-sustaining. If Earth had been in the 'wrong' place, these reactions would (and probably have) take place somewhere else. There are more planets out there than you can imagine. Winning the jackpot on your first turn at a pokie machine is fairly unlikely, right? What if you had a trillion of them?

Uh, anything that is killed by having their respiration hooked-up wrong dies, and can't pass the error onto descendants. My question is, if we were designed, why the hell do our excretory and reproductive orifices share real estate?

If you put a bunch of monkeys on Mars and give them learning materials, food, etc...will they create a language, start building a shelter to live in, or will they start creating a society? Right.
They'd probably start swinging from shrub to shrub and fighting over the bananas. The only evolution that will take place is that one monkey will learn how to protect his / her banana better from the rest.
So close! The monkey will protect his banana better, more women will want him, he has lots of kiddies, they all know how to protect their bananas, and life continues. Easy!
