Homosexuality is something that, in most cases, you are born with and you can’t help it. It’s unfair to blame them or treat them with disrespect just because they have a genetic defect. It’s like making fun of a retard. It’s totally wrong and unacceptable in society. Gays need to be cared for, and science needs to pursue a cure.

"It’s like making fun of a retard"
No, it's not, specifically. It's more like making fun of a black person, or a woman, or a policeman or an elderly person. Or just about any other person you could find in society today.

WEll, that's progress at least, at least he didn't say it was a choice!
and science needs to pursue a cure.
No thanks, I'm fine how I am.
Yeah, lets take time, personnel and resources away from finding cures for things like cancer, AIDS, heart disease and all that other nonsense. Let's concentrate on curing homosexuality, a condition that isn't fatal, doesn't inhibit the quality of life and isn't even a disease according to medical and psychological science.
Brilliant
No, it's more like making fun of a left-handed person. Gays need to be left alone, you need to mind your own business, and science needs to pursue other cures, for things that is actually harmful to society.
It's also wrong and unacceptable in society to call people "retards", asshole.
@anti-nonsense
Considering the substantially higher HIV and general STD rates among gay men (mainly due to the unhealthy and high risk nature of anal sex which most gay men engage in) and the fact that a 100% gay society, hypothetically speaking, would essentially go extinct within 80 years without a single shot being fired - I can't see how you would think that it's 100% normal and healthy either.
Is it tolerable? Sure. I see it in the same manner that I view extreme sports and riding a motorcycle without a helmet - count me OUT, but I won't stop you from personal risk taking.
Normal? Not exactly. Be thankful that it's just 2% of the population at best. There is no way to have a sustainable population level with a number significantly higher. As for the technology that allows procreation without sex - only a recent thing and it's not free.
Are you born gay? No real evidence of that, you can allow freedom of choice, but freedom to choose doesn't mean complete freedom from criticism. People are also criticized for their clothing and music choices, nobody says that's "bigotry" as long as they leave them alone.
Confused?
