Many of the atheists today are a result of the very thing Bobinius claims of religion. The Big Bang 'Theory' and the 'Theory' of Evolution, for example, are taught to our children in schools all across the globe, and are passed on as fact. When in fact, there is NO 'evidence' to support such theories. Don’t get me wrong, I love science. It is mankind’s search for truth. But I will not stand for someone to pass off theories as fact.

Oh, and by the way. A theory with no evidence to support it is not a theory, it's wishful thinking. Like, y'know, gods and shit like that.

Because they are facts.
But they have nothing to do with my atheism. I was comfortable with evolution and the Big Bang when i was still a Believer.
And i know what ‘theory’ means in this context. You clearly don’t.

I swear, it’d be one thing if you could examine the evidence and SHOW where the scientists got it wrong, but pretending there’s none just makes you look stupid.

No one does. There’s A Theory of evolution, which is an attempt to understand THE FACT of evolution. They’re two different things.

Fundamentalists who want to entertain an illusion of the world where humans are the center of the universe, commonly actively deny and fight actual knowledge that proved otherwise. It is very convenient for exploitative leaders to radicalize and isolate their victims, by turning them away from knowledge and stripping away their ability to reason. Deep reasoning is also learned, so this may also mean denying their access to proper education... The original poster's idea of "fact" is not even about them, they've missed the boat.
