For those that don't know it,the number "7" in the Bible means ;Completeness-Spiritual-Perfection".

Umm, no it is tied as the 4th (was the 5th until they upped it to a 9.0). Way to lie for Jesus.

"I posted a "sinners repent" message on a message board this morning (another site, not rr). I pointed out the prophecies being fulfilled, especially the earthquakes in various places and the seas roaring. One person responded and it was to say I should get over myself.

People don't want to repent, they don't want to acknowledge an ultimate authority that they have to answer to. They don't want to give up the pleasure of sin!!!!! It's not that they can't see what's going on around them, it's more like they just ignore it and convince themselves it's all normal. Convincing themselves that they are the wise ones who know better than the rest, they become fools. Like Proverbs says: "fools die for want of wisdom"."

Don't these people know any world history? Disasters like these have been happening for thousands of years. If a disaster like this was a sign of the end times then why didn't the rapture happen after Lisbon, Krakatoa, Pompeii, Haiti, Indonesia 2004, etc. ? Ugh!

Oh for fuck's sakes, is that all these vultures think about? It's disgusting how when tragedy strikes they don't first ask how they can help or at least worry about their safety but rather they immediately think "Awesome! Now we can get them to join our cult!". In no other area of life BUT religion is this considered acceptable behavior. For example, if I went up to a terminally ill person who's in immense pain and asked them to sign a petition for some politician I support I'd rightfully get tossed out the forth story window yet if I did the same but instead of a politician I started telling that person about god and hell I'd be praised or at least not thrown out the fourth story window.

Japan: Hurricane-prone (due to meteorological effects on the landmass, relative to geographical location). Earthquake-prone (due to geological position near Pacific. Three words: 'Ring of Fire').

USA: Hurricane, Typhoon & Tornado-prone (due to meteorological effects on the landmass; Midwest & 'Bible Belt: 'Tornado Alley') Earthquake-prone too (due to California's geological position near Pacific. Three words: San Andreas Fault).

UK: Temperate Zone, thus mix of various - but relatively stable & predictable - meteorological effects. Geologically stable. Natural disasters extremely rare.

Well, first off it's "they're", not "their". God really hates incorrect spelling and punishes it with instant damnation, so watch out.

Second, who are the "they" who are saying this? Please, even when being idiotic, remember to quote your sources.

Third, if this ominous seven is to have any spiritual meaning, then God would have to adhere to the limits of human record keeping and disregard anything that happened before the Sumerians started using clay tablets. It must be a bummer to be eternal and omnipotent and yet still have to go by human standards.

I'm honestly not sure which is worse anymore--the tens of thousands dead, multiple reactors in full meltdown, one of the world's largest and most important economies in an apparent death-spiral, and the blessedly-slim-but-unfortunately-no-longer-entirely-nonexistent-chance that a well-developed first-world nation will effectively cease to exist, with all of the wholesale economic, political and military chaos and misery that promises to bring to the rest of the world...

...or the fundies sitting on their asses gushing ecstatic about it all being a glorious, wonderful, holy sign that their enraged God Almighty is on His way back, without any visible sign of the slightest urge to assist in any way, shape, form or fashion.
