I accept evolutionary theory as the best explanation yet offered for the observations made. I do NOT hold it to be a source of basis of morality.
And if it were, it teaches us that the SPECIES needs to survive, not the individual. I do the best for humanity by saving the greatest number of humans.
And last, we evolved as a gregarious species. I SHOULD be driven to help others, to best reflect the evolutionary path we’re on.
