His election is a historically significant event in U.S. history; plus being intelligent, good looking, and charismatic certainly doesn't hurt.

Or a lot of it could simply be that he is not the Shrubster.

Thus is why Marilyn Monroe was porked on a regular basis by John F. Kennedy. Which is one of the reasons why he's one of my role models. The fact he was slipping several presidential inches to the ultimate Sex Goddess? He had extremely good taste in women, for which I admired him (as well as being one of the best 20th Century POTUS).
