No it's not "common knowledge", it's been available on the internet for all to see. What's "common knowledge" is that you people while make some excuse, no matter how flimsy, to say that isn't his birth certificate. Also, it's not required of a presidential candidate to present his or her birth certificate to the general public. In other words, you aren't entitled to it in the firse place.
In fact, he's already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep it under lock and key.
Now you are makeing a positive claim that requires you to provide sources, because the only time I here shit like that is on far-right conservative forums or blogs, like Rapture Ready, but what I haven't seen is a single person actually back up such claim with actual sources, just conspiracy theories, insults, and claims of persecution. That leads me to believe that you are full of shit.

Answer: Yes, she was.
Citizenship is conferred by birth, as the child of any american expatriate can tell you. If either of his parents were an american citizen then he would be an american citizen also. There is no way around that, neither he, nor his mother, ever surrender their citizenship, and neither's citizenship was ever revoked.
You cannot dispute that fact without some pretty compelling evidence, and you don't have any evidence, just assertions that it must be true because you, or whatever website or talking head you heard it from, say it's true. That's why all of the legal challenges have been dismissed, they hand no evidence to support their claims.
