[On Muslims]
It's a wonder we haven't rounded a lot of them up and either sent them home packing or put them in detention camps. The anti-Americanism is what is frightening. I recently read that Dearborn, Michigan is essentially a Hezbollah training center. A Muslim girl my daughter attends school told my daughter that she hopes America falls -- and her family is wealthy from their opportunity to live in America. How much of that kind of talk should we be willing to put up with?
The round em up idea always freaks people out and makes them think of Hitler and the holocaust. But we did it humanley during WWII with Germans and Japanese. Personally I've had it with Muslims, I wish they would just go back to their desert paradise, set up sharia and have a great time and leave Christian lands and people alone.

All of it. Freedom of speech includes even the speech that we hate to hear, as the Supreme Court has explicitly stated. That, christianley, is what freedom really means. I'll grant that it's a bit wearying sometimes, such as letting some vicious people demand that other people get rounded up when they've done nothing illegal -- but it's an annoyance worth living with. Trust me, sooner or later, you would find the alternative worse.

If by "humanley" you mean "illegally and without due process," I agree. But just because we didn't gas the Japanese-Americans in our internment camps does not make that action by the U.S. government "humane" by any stretch; that act was a blight on American freedoms that must be remembered as a time when we magnificently failed to uphold the very liberty we claimed at the time to be fighting for so gallantly.
If we have anything like a "Most In Need of a Remedial Civics Lesson" Award, I think this would be a beautifully valid candidate for it. This poster has no real grasp of the Bill of Rights or Constitutionality.

You're right, your anti-Americanism is frightening.
"I recently read that Dearborn, Michigan is essentially a Hezbollah training center."
There is a large Arab community in Dearborn. Other than that, I think your assertion is baseless.
"A Muslim girl [with whom] my daughter attends school told my daughter that she hopes America falls -- and her family is wealthy from their opportunity to live in America."
Kids say a lot of stupid things on their way to becoming adults. What is most depressing is the adults who continue to say stupid things.
"How much of that kind of talk should we be willing to put up with?"
Some. Someone should probably talk to her, not shout at her, about those kind of feelings.
"The round em up idea always freaks people out and makes them think of Hitler and the holocaust."
It "freaks us out" because it is against what America is supposed to stand for; freedom of speech, freedom of religion, being judged on one's merits not one's ethnic background.
"But we did it humanley during WWII with Germans and Japanese."
Yeah, just ask those who were rounded up. Just because we didn't shot them or gas them doesn't make robbing them of their possessions, freedom and years of their lives correct.
"Personally I've had it with Muslims, I wish they would just go back to their desert paradise, set up sharia and have a great time and leave Christian lands and people alone."
This is not a "Christian land," shithead. What about having you go back where you came from? You were born here? So were a lot of those Mulsims you hate. Desert paradise? The largest Islamic nation in the world is Indonesia, not a desert in it.
I bet the Mulsims in Iraq and Afganistan are wishing the Christians would just go back where they came from and leave the islamic land and people alone.
"I recently read that Dearborn, Michigan is essentially a Hezbollah training center."
So wait, they're legally emigrating to America, buying houses, marrying and having kids, making ties to their community...and it's all just a cover for their real agenda, which is to learn how to fire rockets at Israel?
Hezbollah must rival God in the inefficiency department.
This is not a "Christian land," shithead.
Isn't Christian Land that theme park that Kent Hovind built?
If we start rounding up dangerous religious radicals, christianley, I'm putting your name first on the list. You sound dangerously un-American.
And for the ten thousandth time, this is not a Christian nation. In the U.S. we worship the Almighty Dollar.
To quote someone else here:
Treaty of Tripoli, bitch.
This is not, never has been, and never fucking will be a Christian nation. Give it the fuck up already.
"I recently read that Dearborn, Michigan is essentially a
Hezbollah training center."
Since hezbollah is a shiite group and most muslims are sunni, thats unlikely.
They're more likely to be al-queda.
"A Muslim girl my daughter attends school told my daughter that she hopes America
falls "
She sounds like a fundie - you two should get along well.
I don't see what exactly the relationship the muslim girl has with you. Anyway, they are in their deserted paradise, which is full of petrol. If they sold onions, they would be already isolated.
"Personally I've had it with Muslims"
Just how much exposure do you have to Muslims on a daily basis? Wait, on second thought, just shut the fuck up you squawking, bigoted, uninformed, stupid, thoughtless, chicken little prison guard wannabe. Don't you find it disturbing that when you talk you remind people of the Holocuast?
It's a wonder they haven't rounded you up and locked you away yet shitstain.
[On fundies]
It's a wonder we haven't rounded a lot of them up and either sent them packing or put them in detention camps. The anti-Americanism is what is frightening. I recently read that the Westboro Baptist Church is essentially a Christian terrorist training center. A fundie said online that he hopes America becomes a theocracy -- but America is supposed to have separation of church and state. How much of that kind of talk should we be willing to put up with?
The round 'em up idea always freaks people out and makes them think of Hitler and the Holocaust. But the fundies think that we did the right thing during WWII with Germans and Japanese. Personally I've had it with fundies, I wish they would just go to their desert paradise, set up their theocracy and have a great time and leave non-fundies (i.e. the rest of the human population) alone.
Guantanamo comes to mind. I bet the ones detained there, year after year without a fair trial, feels it's VERY humane to be robbed of years and years of their lives on a mere suspicion. McCarthy would be proud of you!
Your anti-Americanism is really frightening, yes.
"A Muslim girl my daughter attends school told my daughter that she hopes America falls..."
Rush Limbaugh openly stated that he hoped Obama's efforts to save the nation would fail. The TeaBaggers and their wealthy puppet masters have been working to ensure this since day one of Obama's term. Frankly, the Muslim terrorists are a minor threat to our country compared to it's "good Christian" citizens!
You don't live in a Christian land, so quit worrying about it.
Oh, and I bet a lot of Japanese Americans would like a word with you on the definition of "humanely." I'll grant you that the internment camps were not Auschwitz, but they were still hellholes and do try and remember that a large number of those people who ended up in them were American-born American citizens.
Unfortunately for you, your Constitution gives Muslims as much right to live in Anerica as you Christian halfwits, so get used to it or ship out to some Christian theorcracy. Assuming you can find anywhere on earth backward enough to qualify.
It's a wonder the Native Americans didn't round up the Europeans on Mayflower, and either sent them home packing or put them in detention camps.
There was no "humanely" about what you did to Germans and Japanese during WWII, asshole!
If there is such a thing as Christian lands, it's the same desert paradise as the Muslims, and perhaps the Vatican.
Just as an aside, there was very little internment of German-Americans as a group during WWII.
This is partly due to the sheer numbers of people involved and partly, I suspect, due to the fact that German-Americans are white.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
