This confuses "creation" with a plant growing. The plants were already in existance prior to this, the verse simply states they hadn't sprouted. Second, you'll note in the description above it completely ignores the fact that plants were created prior to the sun, moon and stars. Plants: Day 3. Sun, Moon, stars: Day 4.

And when Judas hung himself, the tree branch was jutting over a tall cliff, and the rope snapped, and then Judas fell in the field. So it's no contradiction at all to say he hung himself AND he fell in a field.
Reconciling the 4 stories of resurrection gets a bit trickier, but with patience and a will to believe, it gets easier.
For extra points, explain how Joseph, stepfather of Jesus, had several lineages. (Though they didn't matter because his DNA was ultimately not involved.)
Huh?
Fundie logic ? reality.
Mutually exclusive.
@Illuminatalie - that's easy. One of the genealogies is for Mary's side. "Son" also meant "son-in-law" in those days, of course. Everyone knows that. ;-)
I've never heard the rationalization for the fact that one of the names in the list is the son of David whose line the Messiah could NOT come from.
In 1 Chronicles 28:4-10, the royal line of descent was to be through none other than Solomon. The Luke genealogy has Jesus coming through Nathan's line.

Someone needs some basic geography learnin'
Day three: God sows seeds for every kind of plant life; mushrooms (both lethal and hallucinogens), lettuce, tomatoes, cannabis, stinging nettles, venus fly traps, (Now what did they eat before the fall? Vegetation?) and all the others.
Day four: God provides sunlight for plants to grow.
Day six: Within fourty-eight hours, every plant and tree, from rose to redwood, has grown to full size in time for Adam's creation, providing the garden of Eden.
You really should just stick to God conjuring things out of thin air. Or pulling them out of a hat! Everybody loves a bit of showmanship!
Let's see, plants create their "food" by mixing carbon dioxide (C02) and dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) and with the energy of sunlight transforms it to glucose (C6H12O6) and air (O2). Plant can't live without energy, so how could it survive without food and the warmth of sun because without the sun, this planet would be totally frozen
Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
And in the original Hebrew, the fact that the plants sprout on the third day is even clearer.
Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Confused?
