As far as I understand it, the only thing different now, is that they are open about their orientation. Nothing has changed, really; they are still the same, you just know a bit more about them.

Just like all those fat people who swear they'll take off weight and then make up 1,000.000,000 excuses to pig out 24/7, you'll be back to the NFL in a week and you'll have excuses explaining why it's really ok to do so.
Anyway, you need the NFL to keep your tiny amount of brain cells active. You can't just watch NASCAR all the time.

Rush isn't cool enough to listen to Rush. And they've already told him not to play their music on his show, like pretty much every band on the planet .
Most of the world couldn't give a shite about American Football. They tried to popularise it in Europe, but it never took off. So shut the cackle about watching or not. Most of the world doesn;t give a damn. For those that enjoy it, continue to do so and good luck to you. Just be aware, the fundies are out to get your national game next, and they are using their anti-gay rhetoric as a weapon against it.'
