Almost everybody acts as i'm crazy when they hear i say "the earth is not a spinnig ball. Not spinning and not a ball". It is harder to crack prejudice than an atom. So it is hard to convince them. But when i try to convice somebody, after i talked usually they change their mind as confuse. Because i don't see anybody can defence one of main argument about diffusion.
More altitude gravity decreases but suddenly occurs diffusion is a really strong power; so how atmospher resist to difuses to the space. This question has no answer. I recommend to ask this question first for all discussings.

Even if you could, in theory, make a flat earth the size of our planet, the gravity of the earth is sufficient to draw it into a sphere. Every planet and moon and star that we are able to see in any detail is a sphere for that reason. Small meteorites might not be, but only because they are too small to have such an enormous gravity. The earth even has enough gravity to retain a great deal of gaseous atmosphere - and our moon (smaller, less mass, less gravity) does not.
