That church was wrong to praise him for his service to our nation. If the man was a gay member of the military, he did not serve honorably.

"Fred Phelps fan?"
My thoughts exactly.
This is a first.
This guy supports the war but opposes the troops.
The fact remains that these young men and women are voluntarily flying around the world to a desolate, hostile desert country , where they are willing to lay down their lives to make the world a safer place for their families and their communities. I'm completely aware that there are people who disagree with the motivation for this war, and that's fine with me, as long as they can appreciate the motivations of these people to make the sacrifices they do.
I honestly never thought I would see someone claim that that sacrifice is only honorable if you pop a chubby for tits instead of teh cock.
Congratulations, BabyBeastie, you're officially a traitor to your country.
Fuck you, intolerant git.
I volunteer you for being towed out to sea for use in naval target practice.
BabyBeastie, when your freedom is threatened, when the gun is at your head, I'm sure you won't give a shit if the guy in uniform saving your sorry as is gay, straight, or on hormones waiting for a sex change operation.
I should think you'd be grateful to anyone who protects your freedom to be a stupid asshole.
"If the man was a gay member of the military, he did not serve honorably."
How dare you speak this way of someone who laid their life on the line by serving in the uniform of their country?
You don't deserve to breathe the same air as the rest of us.

Yet here you are in America, enjoying the fruits of the army's labour.
Or labour of the Army's fruits, as it were.
Ah, yet another "armchair marine" who likes to complain about gays/women/non-Christians (depending on level of extremism) in the military, yet won't so much as lift a finger to protect his fellow man.
I admit right now that I will not join the military, but I do respect anyone who does. And I certainly wouldn't have the audacity to claim that someone is unsuited to protect me because of some aesthetic on their part that doesn't affect me whatsoever.
In short: Until your life depends on the guy beside you, BB, why not shut the hell up?
Okay, BabyBeastie , since you seem to know so much about the military:
If God is so great, what does He need a human militry for in the first place?
How fucking dare you, you are not only scapegoating some of today's finest soldiers but also, by association some of the greatest military leaders to have ever existed. Are the achievements of Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar dishonorable simply because they were attracted to men?
"Alright! You go over there and FUCK them, We'll stay here and masturbate! NOW MOVE MOVE MOVE!"
comes to mind.
Also, you're a moron, 'beastie', truly a moron. Not serving honorably would be, say, joining a reserve national guard unit thanks to daddy's connections, skipping a physical, and going AWOL.
or, ya know, ordering the shit at gitmo.
but being gay? *no one should care*.
You... you... motherfucking piece of rat shit little bitch. You dare think you have the right to condemn anyone who spends their life to save you worthless, ungratefull punk-bitch ass? Sir, you are a slime, you are below even the lowest life-form. There are no words to describe how disgusting you are.
Explain what homosexuality has to do with serving honorably or not will you? I served a tour, I'm gay, and I didn't do anything dishonorable (have sex with someone/thing, murder civilians, discharge my weapon on friendlies, etc.). Although I have heard of heterosexual soldiers doing all of the previously noted acts.
Do keep in mind though that I refuse to make blanket statements about heterosexual soldiers (although I certainly have more proof to back up my statement with than you do).
So please, kindly either explain or shut up.
He didn't serve honorably. However, you playing computers, critisising and putting your butt in the chair, did a lot.

Quoted for truth.
Yes, because his gun shot rainbow sparkles instead of bullets, and oncoming fire distinguished his gay ass from the other asses in trenches, and he was invulnerable.
And yet people like you claim that liberals are traitors and don't support the troops?
If the man committed war crimes, like the soldiers in My Lai did, then yes, he did not serve honorably. However, I'd be willing to bet that his homosexuality did not take any part in the fighting. What, you think he made out with his comrades while they were being attacked instead of trying to defend them? You're a loathsome coward.
I know I am several years late for this post but, hey fuckwit, it doesn't mater if your gay, straight, bi, or asexual (yes people not attracted to either sex exist). Dishonorable service in the military would be committing a war crime, breaching military law, leaking secrets, deserting, or refusing to follow a superior's orders.
Confused?
