With all due respect, Zelda, I don't consider Buddhism a benign religion because it still leads people to Hell for all eternity. It is this thinking that destroys souls so I think we need to be careful to sugar coat anything that is not the truth of Jesus Christ found only in the Bible. The "enlightenment" and peace found in the Word of God is not "equal to and completely surpassing Buudhism." Buddhism is a false religion, every aspect of it. True biblical Christianity is the only way to eternal peace with God and man.
