I know EMPIRICALLY that the same would be true if you put heterosexual males on one island and heterosexual females on one island, you blithering idiot.
Besides, something will be left in both cases. People, regardless of whether they can reproduce or not, will create things. Most humans like to live in a comfortable, pleasant, and beautiful environment. If they don't have to bother with child-rearing, this trait would be even more active.
Oh, and I think that they will find a way to reproduce, in both cases. Yes, homosexuals can reproduce, just not with people of the same gender.
Amos' argument against homosexuality is homosexuals are evil because they can't procreate with partners of the preferred gender. And that's seriously his whole definition of "building"?
They could have left art, literature, science...but no progeny - and, in a world with a population rushing toward eight billion, that makes them somehow inferior?
So let me get this straight: "Making babies" is the only thing that constitutes a society? Literally nothing else that's not dependend on sex? Like laws, art, literature, science, culture...

Oh, and it was a story about that guy in California who's running for Congress and is a pedophile and white supremacist...but not homosexual. He thinks that if "HOMOMIRAGE" (as he calls it) wasn't made legal, no one would think they could get away with that kind of thing.
Unless I have personally met Amos Moses many years ago, sadly he's not the only one who has ever made that argument. I tried pointing out that very obvious flaw, but the person in question was basically no, both islands would need to have a mix of both men and women to be a hetero equivalent.
