Ever since the lie of evolution was brought into the picture, many believe we evolved from animals.
The only lie there is that we evolved from animals. We are still animals, we never stopped being animals.
That lie makes us no better than animals
We aren't. We might be smarter, but that doesn't necessarily equate to "better"
The way some people act, I could almost believe that about them.
Translation: People who don't believe what I do are stupid people who think they are monkeys.
Looking at animal behavior and trying to prove by that behavior that homosexuality is normal is quite a stretch.
No one is trying to prove that homosexuality is normal because of animal behavior, just simply that it's present in the animals kingdom and therefore is, by definition, natural, and not, as many of you claim, exclusively the behavior of people that hate god and just want to sin.
Just another feeble attempt by homosexuals to justify their perverted behavior
I doubt that there is a single homosexual in the world who "justifies" their sexual preference with references to animal behavior. In fact the only time that animal behavior comes into play is to refute homophobic claims that homosexuality is "unnatural" and not found in nature.
To use that example as proof is saying that they are as dumb as animals with no ability to think or reason for themselves.
If animals were "dumb" and "unable to think or reason for themselves" then they would have all died out a long time ago. If animals were unable to think or reason then how is it the can hunt for food? How is it that they can be trained to perform certain actions? Many, many different species are capable of communication with each other, and some are almost certainly self aware and capable of being taught to communicate across species lines.
Animals live and act by instinct alone
Some do, but by no means does that apply to all of them. It has been demonstrated time and time again that some animals are capable of some level of reasoning and decision making.
and just have a natural desire to procreate
All animals do, including humans.
and can't always tell whether the one they're trying to mate with is male or female
Give me a fucking break. Are you so stupid that you think that animals cannot tell the differences of gender in their own species? There are many, many different ways that animals can tell one another apart, their senses are heightened in some ways that ours are not, and many time they can simply tell gender just by scent. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean they can't, and to assume so is the height of arrogant ignorance.
Humans know the difference and sometimes choose to be with their own gender instead of the way God intended--one male with one female
So why are homosexuals attracted to members of the same sex? Attraction is not subject to the will. A gay person cannot "force" themselves to be attracted to a member of the opposite sex anymore than you can "force" yourself to be attracted to a member of the same sex. Attraction is hardwired at birth and therefore your "god" must have intended for them to be gay, or your "god" just plain doesn't exist and that is the way the world works.
