I was just saying to DH last night that unless one is actually watching and looking for the signs God warned us about, life seems normal. I've spoken to so many people just to see what they think and I am surprised to see that the majority of them don't see anything that different. Sure, they'll say there seems to be more earthquakes but then they'll chalk it up to the earth shifting, something natural. They'll say that the Middle East has always been going back and forth as it is now, they'll say there's always been famine in different parts of the world so in other words........they see everything as normal therefore life continues as normal, drinking and eating and giving in marriage.....because they aren't "watching" and looking as we are, they don't see it as we do. I've even spoken to believers who don't "see it"

When you're looking for signs, you will find them in absolutely anything and everything. Hell, I could start looking for signs that Ragnarok is coming and I'd find them. I could look for signs that Taliesen is going to be reborn so that we'll have another god on Earth/folk hero/damn good artist-mystic and I'd find them.
I choose to look for skulls in odd places though. I know it's just my mind making order out of random patterns, but it's a fun little hobby.
Dude I've TOTALLY seen it! This morning, my cat sneezed. And yesterday, it snowed. These are truly signs that the rapture is near!
*Sadly, I'm not joking about the snow thing. However, where I live, as depressing as snow in April is, it's par for the course. Sigh.

I think in many cases it's just laziness rather than sentimentalism.
People who study earthquakes and volcanoes say it's neither more nor fewer than normal. The Earth is more global now, we hear about everything, and we get news faster than ever before.
What signs? More and more children survive to the age of five? More and more women can use their human rights? More and more children are educated? Yeah, those are horrible signs, indeed.
There is much truth in what you say Christina. For several years only Rapture Ready members have been able to "see it", and for many millions of years to come, only Rapture Ready members will be able to "see it". Keep telling us all whenever you "see it".

The planet destroying itself is natural. Human beings are a virus. Look at the way the earth is polluted, and there are more water shortages due to overcrowding. It has nothing to do with the end times, more to do with ignorance of the environment.

We made up the bit about the crusades fighting over the holy land, And modern day problems with Israel and the arabs dont really happen. We just make up news stories about it. Trying to make it look like it has always happened. But you are too smart for us. You found out the conspiracy.
