I'm sorry that you are so open minded. Easily swayed, like water. Believing whatever you wish in order to not insult people...Being too open minded is dangerous.

And, in your standard world, the only way is being closed minded fundy. Open mindness is the lesser evil, then.
Sticking to your guns in the face of evidence to the contrary is not a virtue. Hillary Clinton has been trying to prove that while running for president, but so far she hasn't managed to pull off the message. I'm not a fan of hers, but I do respect her for trying and think she'd be a fine president.
It appears to be flexible and easily swayed, but water erodes dirt and rock.
You fail the test, grasshopper.
I sort of agree, but for different reasons.
I've always said that other people of the 'left' persuasion are too afraid to openly call people like this tool stupid pricks, or just wrong, for fear of being called intolerant.
Open-minded people have more friends, to start with. More human knowledge. More social skills. A broad perspective. A tested ability to deal with reality.
Please explain how that is dangerous, kiwi.
"Mind like water" is my favorite meditation image. Clear, still, reflecting reality just the way it is. Being open-minded doesn't mean falling for every story that comes along, it means examining all the facts without shutting them out. A lot of us call that "maturity."
Thoug the problem of having an open mind is that everyone tries to fill it with junk, the scientific method is quite good at filtering out all the crap.
Also, go read Carl Sagan's "The demon haunted world: sience as a candle in the dark".
Confused?
