That's right, you do not care about logic, reason or evidence, your mind has been made up and it will not be changed. No matter how wrong you are.
Fortunately, Jeremy, it isn't about your body , so the women who are "pro-choicers" don't give a shit what you think.
To be fair, I've heard, hell, I've ran arguments like this (and I mean that in a very very loose sense) in debate and won.
Unfortunately, it did involve me demonizing the opposition and running a lot of rhetoric to win ("think of the unborn child"). Otherwise, the public health nightmare (dangerous, illegal black market) argument will inevitably end up trumping every other thing.
Bad start. Let´s say I don´t care how well an argument(put any name, Christians, pro-life, communist, muslims..........)makes, they´re still wrong. Convincing?
In other words, you don't have any kind of effective argument FOR your position, so you simply are trying to preemptively nullify any and all arguments AGAINST your position -- just by saying so? Who the heck do you think you are, to try to alter the rules of debate such that nobody is allowed to refute you when they have the goods to do so?
Sorry, but you don't get to just wave your hand and declare that the enemy's ammunition disappears. If they've got heavy artillery and all you have is a peashooter, all you can do is lose. You don't have to like it, but you DO have to acknowledge it.

If Jeremy is saying that no matter what materialistic argument a pro-choicer makes, abortion is still morally wrong, then I could see his point of view. (Not that I agree with it.) But if he's just closing his eyes, sticking his fingers in his ears, and yelling, "You're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong!" then his argument is on the same level as too many pro-lifers and deserving of scorn.
"I don't care how well (sic) an argument a pro-choicer makes", I still won't listen to it.
Isn't that what you really mean?
