Pointing (diacritical marks_) for an E
Yod for I
Vav for O and U - pointing indicates which.
But pointing is only for kids and foreigners learning Hebrew. In general only the long vowels are written in everyday situations. So on three counts G-d is nonsense

- it's like circumcising English orthography

As to your Bible, ever heard of David and Jonathan? Any fair-minded reading of this story cannot avoid the conclusion that here is a tale about two gay boys in love.
